The absolute best when it comes to cleanliness, professional techniques and expertise!!! Love, love, love this place. I have been coming here for 5 years now and even after moving further away, I still make my way back.

I would’ve rated it negative stars if I could. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had getting my nails done. I’ve been getting nails for over a year and saw decent reviews on Unilocal and decided to try this place. When I went in and nobody greeted me and my nail tech was late for my appointment. She put on the tips crooked and tried to tell me it was my fingers. She redid it and when she filed One of my nails and trimmed it she cut me and I was bleeding pretty bad one of the other nails tech ladies had to help her file my nails so they would look crooked. It took her 2 ½ hours to complete a full set of nails and I will not go back. She even asked me for a tip.. I shouldn’t even been charge for the service. Beware

My go to nail place for me and my husband for the past 10 years. No frills but clean, friendly and my nails always last forever!!! Super good with giving nail advice and will go the extra mile to make sure nails are the way you want them, you just can’t be scared to talk to them. The ladies are quiet and that is way better than those busy places when they up charge for every little thing and shout in your face to their friends (and yes they are talking about you!). Nail Tek is a HB locals spot, and I luv it for that!!!

I love this cute little nail salon. They are super affordable and do an awesome job. They may not be super fancy, but they definitely get the job done and the girls are so nice! They also have a great selection of colors. I usually go while I wait for my laundry to dry next door.

I love this place! Vy and her sister are great, so is the rest of the staff! No frills but who needs it when you get quality nails! Highly recommended!

Coming here for years. No frills but extremely clean-i.e. liners in the pedicure bowls. The main ladies speak English and are very nice, remembering things we’ve talked about. They take appointments and walk-​ins. Back and front doors open so well-​ventilated. I do pedicures, full pink and white sets, and fills. $ 25 for full pink and white set. Never feel rushed. They know me by name. Highly recommend.

Have been going here for 15 years! Consistently amazing results as I always get a manicure, pedicure and waxes. Great price, super fast and they are always so nice. Everyone who works there is so accommodating and listens to what you want. I Definitely will continue to recommend Nails Tek!

My essie gel mani chipped and peeled within 2 days, and I only found time to return the following week. When I mentioned it, they re-​did the gels asking absolutely zero questions — and this time it lasted a good 3 weeks. Since all my other pedis there have been great (I don’t typically get manis), I’m inclined to think that the one bad mani was just a fluke. Nails Tek is an absolutely no frills, no nonsense type of place but who really likes those dumb massage chairs anyway?!

Like other reviews, its a no frills place. My experiences have always been mediocre. They are all nice and friendly, but I wouldn’t say any of them are craftswomen at their trade. Ive only had a mani pedicure twice. The first time the polish on my hands chipped within the first 3 days. The second time I jus went with clear polish. Its good to do your nails here while your laundry dries next door.

I feel so badly for my Mom, she is seriously heartbroken. She took off her and her mothers wedding rings when she got her nails done and left them there. Upon returning the nail ladies said they were not there and that no one had sat at her chair. They were definitely stolen probably by an employee which is so sad and I strongly believe in karma so they will get there’s. She has had her moms ring since her 20’s when her mom passed away at a young age. She offered a reward and filed a police report but no luck :(so customers be warned don’t take off your jewelry here or you may never see it again!

Ok, this is a no frills, no fanciness, no spoiling type of place. They do the job and get it done. I’ll tell you the number one reason I will come here, the portable tub you soak your feet in is lined with throw away plastic so this is as HYGIENIC as it gets. It’s a rarity to find now a days, a fancy massage chair with jets and bubbles for your feet is a breeding place for bacteria, I don’t care how «clean» someplace claims to be a quick scrub isn’t going to do crap for the hundreds of people that come in a week that I’m sharing foot space with. Yuck. Ok, that’s enough of reason number 1.
Reason number 2, I already treat myself to a Shellac manicure every other week, so I need to cut corners someplace, but still want pretty toes. Nails Tek serves me well. They got the dirt under my toes, they cut and filed them perfectly, and my polish lasted at least 2 weeks with no chipping alongside my active surf, rollerblading, dog walking lifestyle. Solid!
One disclaimer, they have a limited selection of polish, and brands I’m not too crazy for, so bring your own polish if you can and then I’m sure you’ll have a pretty fantastic experience.

I got mani/​pedi here & the price was very reasonable. They did a great job on my French-​tip gel manicure, & a good job on my pedicure. I am definitely going back & bringing some gf’s with me too :)

this is an update to my previous review. & this is why I had to take down a couple stars:
I’m a great tipper when it comes to beauty services. & The last time I went, the girls were not friendly to me at all & told me to come back later that day because they couldn’t fit me in. So a few hours later– I came back. They told me «you need an appointment». I would have greatly appreciated to know that before I was so rudely refused service the first time I came. They didn’t even Acknowledge my presence when I came back! So I said to myself (and now to Unilocalers) that I will be taking my business someplace else! & I did. I called to another salon on 5^th st in HB & they gladly took me in without an «appointment». They did a wonderful job on my nails & they also have massage chairs where you can sit & relax while getting a mani/​pedi! — a definite step up from This place. 3 stars.
