!!! SCAM !!! IT’S PROVEN!!!
I was referred to Mike through an old friend. From February — May I took my car to him and thought he was great as everyone claimed, but each time I got my car back, and each time being 1 – 3 weeks late on his part with a dozen excuses, the exact problems persisted. I was suckered in by him and thought he was great bc he threw in freebies such as replacing the door handle clip that the valet broke for free. This is how he suckers everyone in. I paid over $ 4,600 for repairs that were never performed completely. Mike would do small repairs such as changing the brakes, but not the big repairs I paid for. Each time I got my car back the exact same problems persisted with the ABC and each time, I notified him the same or next day regarding the ongoing issues.
Finally, in May, after Mike so «kindly» dropped my car off to me after FOUR long months of going back and forth for the same issues, I called him the same day after I got my car back to let him know that the problems were still there and the ABC light was still on, but also that this time there was a large scratch on my fender which wasn’t there before. He said he’ll have someone pick it up that same day & he’ll take care of it (for the 7^th time) and THEN … the JERK just DISAPPEARED!!! I called all 3 of his numbers including his home phone, emailed him countless times at both his emails throughout WEEKS and NOTHING!!!
He took my money, and ran!
Finally fed up, I took my car to a very reputable Mercedes place and had them check my car, run a diagnosis on the machine (which Mike never did nor show me paperwork of) and cross reference it with the repairs Mike charged me for on the two invoices. LOW AND BEHOLD! The parts he billed me for that was close to 1k each, were NEVER put into my car! Not only were they not installed on my car, he billed me for parts that didn’t even BELONG to my car model! Talk about a stupid criminal! The other shops I requested the cross referencing both had the SAME diagnosis by doing not only a machine diagnosis, but also a visual diagnosis by putting my car on the lift and pointed out the parts that were said to have been replaced by Mike but weren’t. Indeed, I video taped the entire process so I can present it in court. I soon found out through the SEVERAL Mercedes mechanics I took it to (to verify the work) that Mike had scammed MANY upon MANY of customers the same way and some were just recently coming forward with their complaints as well. Mike Ozonur has also been reported to the DCA Automotive Bureau where a fraud investigation on him and his shop was already open. WOW! Contact to file a complaint (800) 952‑5210 or Bureau of Automotive Repair with Mike’s Bar #255 467 if you’ve had questionable repairs.
When I had the evidence to back up my claim, I contacted my friend who referred me to Mike. He got in touch with Mike and told him about my findings and that I was planning to sue him if I didn’t get reimbursed. Finally, after weeks of avoiding me, Mike finally called me the same day my friend relayed the threat of a lawsuit. He called me with a number I didn’t recognize and chuckled when I answered. He apologized, PROFUSELY, asking me to bring my f’ing car in for the 37^th time. WHAT A JOKE! Does he really think I’m EVER going to let him touch my car again & did he actually think I was stupid enough to bring my car back & give him the opportunity to make appropriate repairs, AND above ALL, the opportunity to add the parts on my car that I was fraudulently billed for? During our conversation my phone died due to the dead car charger adapter that was supposedly fixed by Mike. When I got home, I charged my phone & called him back. No answer but he calls me back an hour later and now, instead of wanting to resolve the issue, he said that if I take him to court he’ll counter me for «defamation» LOL Seems like he spoke to an idiot friend who gave him weak advice. Do you even know what defamation is? How do you suppose to win countering someone for defamation if what they’re claiming about you is true? Nice try Mike, but it’s time we take this to court so I can expose the fraud that you really are & stop you from ripping off the innocent.
His previous victims who were recent customers of Mike’s (including myself) are filing a lawsuit against Mike to get reimbursed. (1 victory so far)
So if you’ve ever taken your car to Mike Ozonur at Import Auto Service or his other company BenzDepot, and the issues remain, make sure to get a proper diagnosis and verify with a reputable dealer that:
1. The initial repairs on Mike’s diagnosis were actually required in the first place.
2. The invoiced parts were actually replaced on the car
A proper diagnosis is a print out report from the diagnostic machine and NOT the diagnosis he hand wrote on his estimate.
If you think you got burned, contact an attorney to get your money back and put this scammer to rest!

Needed new brake pads. Got a quote from dealer, but got a much more reasonable price from Mike the owner. He did a fabulous job and went above and beyond to reset some of the redundant alerts on my ML350. I will come back for service A, B, etc next time.

I recently bought a BMW 545I from a dealer and there where some problems with the car from the get go. The dealer sent me to Import Autos. I just wanted to say that they really took care of me. Khann, the Master mechanic really listened to me and explained everything in great detail. Plus the price was great, I am now a customer for life.

I recently went here for my regular scheduled «B service» and Import Auto Service performed the service at $ 184.82 (including tax) compared to the $ 329 I was quoted at Fletcher Jones, so it was a very good deal. Service was quick and prompt and they finished with my vehicle in less than an hour, which is a lot more convenient for me versus having to get a loaner car at Fletcher and then having to drive back in order to pick up the car. I also asked for an estimate for a huge scratch I had on my fender since I was looking for someone to buff it out for me. They were actually able to buff/​sandpaper it out for me for free! I wasn’t charged for it and the scratch isn’t noticeable at all anymore. Of course it’s not perfect and there is still a small dent but that’s something I need to have taken care of on my own. I am just so impressed that they went beyond the call of duty and buffed out my massive scratch for free! I will return here in the future for maintenance services because their prices are very competitive compared to the dealer and their service is excellent. I recommend this place if you are looking for an independent mechanic to service your Benz or any other import vehicle.
