Wonderful first time experience! Felt very at ease and such friendly staff! Came in for my son and made an appointment for myself.

I’ve been a patient for over twenty years and the service has always been excellent. The staff is great and Dr. Young, Dr. Sakabe, and Theresa are excellent. Thank you!

Appreciated everyone explaining everything to us very well, being very gentle and understanding. They all felt like they were ‘real’ people, who really cared about your dental health. Also they didn’t push un-​needed services, and have very reasonable prices, and explained the costs up front… which is very important for us! Thank you!

BEST OFFICE EVER! Dr Sakabe is a great gentle doctor! I love how comforting he is and is always making sure I’m ok when I’m in the chair. I know going to the dentist is never a fun thing to do but the staff always makes my experience much better. When Dr Sakabe numbs me I never feel a thing!!! I love it! I definitely would recommend coming to this office :)

Best services. Really enjoy coming here to have all my dental care with my favorite dental hygienist, Teresa and my dentist, Dr. Young. They take great care of me. Prices are fair. They work with my insurance which is a plus. Super friendly staff. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend this dental center.

Dr Young is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable during visits. I’ve been going to her for years and slowly we’ve been getting my teeth in order. Nobody really likes going to the dentist, but she makes things as pleasant as they can be.

Great staff great service!

I went here over a year ago. I made an appointment to see Dr. Young, but on the day of, I guess she wasn’t at work, so Dr. Sakabe had to take all of her patients. It would’ve been nice if they had contacted me prior so I can reschedule instead having to wait forever.
Anyway, my gum was sensitive in one spot and I wanted the doctor to check that out. They applied something to my gum which was supposed to protect it, it was expensive, and didn’t help.
Then, I had my teeth cleaned. They were about to send me out, but I asked how it went. Then they proceeded to tell me that I had about THIRTEEN cavities. THIRTEEN! It would’ve cost a fortune to get them taken care of. But, I still made an appointment to get them fixed. After I got home, the more I thought about it, the more I became suspicious. How can I have that many cavities? I have seen two different dentists since then. Well I do have cavities, but just two, not thirteen.

Very friendly, quick and expedient dental office. Staff is very accommodating and informative. Been using them for 15 years!

I started coming to see Dr. Young @ HB Dental when I was referred to her from one of bosses… that was more than 20 years ago! Since then, on a regular basis my whole family comes to see all the dentists and hygienists at HB Dental and we couldn’t be happier with their service and professionalism!

I started with Dr. Sakabe more than 2 decades ago. My wife is still with Dr. Sakabe. At some point (I don’t even remember why) I moved to Dr. Young. Both of them are excellent and get the highest marks from me… This is a first class operation; not only the dentists, but the technicians and office staff all work to make going to the dentist more fun than… well… let’s not go there. It’s still not fun, but if you have to have dental work done… Dr. Young and Dr. Sakabe are wonderful!

I have been a patient here for years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I am so thankful for their care and attention. They take the time to visit with you and carefully educate you on what’s going on and options. I always feel 100% comfortable knowing I am in good hands. The whole team is great and I’m actually excited to go in when it’s time for a checkup.

Dr. Sakabe, Dr. Young and the rest of the staff here literally changed my life. The reason I first went to Mark was for an Invisalign consultation, and now 5 years later I have a smile that gets rave remarks all the time, clean white teeth, a dentist/​orthodontist, and a really good friend as well! Mark and Maryann really go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met in a professional and timely manner. The warm, caring, and friendly environment fostered there is clearly evident by the rest of the staff who deeply embody this spirit. Once you come here for your dentistry needs, thats one thing you can cross off your To-​do list because you won’t need to go anywhere else. And if you are a USC fan you and Mark will get along fine!

We have been commuting from Mission Viejo to see Dr. Sakabe, for over 20 years now, well worth the drive! He is very gentle and with his laid pack personality puts you at ease. When I had a toothache he made it a point to see me ASAP. My children have grown up comming here and are now young men. They have had cleanings, fillings, and onlays. They did not complain at all, they said they dont even fill his injection! Which I agree with myself. They continue to drive to see him. they have a friendly staff as well, His Partner Dr Young is ALSO great, she took good care us gave us good quality work and was gentle and kind. Our neighbors think were crazy driving in traffic up to an hour to see a dentist, BUT they are not your ordinary Dentists, I tell them its all Worth IT!!! We actually look forward to seeing

I have been a patient of Huntington Beach Dental Center for at least 17 years. Dr young is my Dentist and she is amazing, as is everyone in the office. I recently had to get my teeth capped as they were cracking and she actually made my smile way prettier then my natural teeth. She is an expert in color matching and shaping. I had to spend more then half a day there to do this procedure and I felt very comfortable with everyone one from Bow (don’t know if I spelled that right) to Cheryl the office manager. They are all so great and recommend them to anyone that wants a perfect smile in a comfortable setting.

I have always been nervous coming to the dentist, but the doctors and staff here quickly melted the ice and made it very comfortable. The doctors went over my treatment plan and thoroughly explained what I needed done and gave me different options to choose from. I didn’t feel hustled, they don’t up-​sell here and I totally appreciate that! It’s hard to find a dentist you can trust. My dentist was usually Dr. Young, but one time I was scheduled to come in for a filling and the receptionist called and said that Dr. Young would be gone for the week for a family emergency and that Dr. Sakabe would be able to do the filling for me if I was okay with that. Since I’ve had such a great experience with Dr. Young, I went ahead and came in to get my filling done with Dr. Sakabe. Another smooth and PAINLESS visit!
So I had the opportunity to experience both dentists and I am happy I started coming here. Front desk is on the ball, I always know how much my co-​pays are. No surprises! The assistants are super friendly and funny too. I went from having anxiety in the chair years ago to being able to joke around and just be myself now. The doctors are also personable and always talking to me about school. It shows me that they care. If you’re looking for a dentist in the area, COME HERE! I’m so happy I chose this place among so many other choices.

Dr. Young is an outstanding dentist who is caring, gentle and honest. Her staff members are friendly and her office is very clean. I’ve been coming to Dr. Young and this facility for several years now and it’s been a wonderful experience. That includes one recent year where in short order we did 5 crowns and two partial crowns (no party let me tell you) but Dr Young and staff make it a point to ensure your comfort and explain your procedures so you know exactly what is going on.
They also do a fantastic job on working with your insurance and they find out for you upfront what your portion of the procedure will be; no surprises.
All a round a great office and staff and I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Sakabe and Dr. Young are so wonderful! I was very dumb and took a bite at my metal fork while eating chinese pancakes and chipped my front tooth. I was self conscious about it so I came to Huntington Beach Dental Center. Dr. Sakabe helped me repair the tooth. He gave me options of bonding or shaving it down, but said if I bond it would look like it never happened. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out like, but I trusted him. Him and his D.A. — Bao were so great! They are so funny too! It was painless, fast, and good as new! I’m very happy of what happened. They’re a very busy office. SO many sure you call or schedule an appointment.
SInce I’ve been here before and I know they’re a busy place. Dr. Young told me about their new whitening machine that they just got in. She said it’s an option and my teeth were already white. Since I was a bit self-​concious after what happened to my front tooth I said what the heck. I’ve bleach my teeth before and I brush with Crestwhite. So my teeth are already pretty good! HOWEVER, this machine and Dr. Young are AMAZING! The other staff, Lilianna was so funny she said I seriously look like I belong in a crest commercial! haha. Very sweet office.
Overall I’m very happy to be a patient at this office and will definitely come back for years to come. Thank you Dr. Sakabe and Dr. Young!!!
Serious, a wonderful place and well staffed. This doesn’t really matter, but the design of the place is very welcoming. It seems like they keep the place extremely clean, which is great. Also, I assume they’re very updated with their equipment since Dr. Sakabe used this one machine to fix my bonding and it took 5 seconds for it harden. No Joke! Chip your front tooth and try it! JK!
