ExperTec is a RIP OFF! They attempted to charge me $ 1,000.00 for work that wasn’t even needed. I bought a van (used) and took it there for a safety check becuase they were AAA approved. After telling me a few things are fine they don’t need immeadite repair. They made me feel like they were being honest and that they could save me money. But then I was told the bad news. ALL my lug nuts were improperly threaded and to even check the brakes they would have to be replaced. I was told to bring it back for brake check and to replace ALL LUG NUTS. When i took it back they took the van apart and told me it would be $ 1,000 repair for lug nuts and brakes. I didn’t have the money and asked them to put my tires back on. They said they couldn’t the lug nuts had to be replaced and it was unsafe to let me drive the van off their lot. I insisted they put my tires back on. I took the van in for a second opinion and they said the brakes were fine and the lug nuts were fine. So, i took it in for a third opinion. Same thing, brakes were fine and the lug nuts were fine. WHAT THE HECK? PLEASE REPORT THEM TO AAA, THEY ARE DISHONEST!

My car just simply would not start. So I called my AAA to have it towed and they recommended this place. Now it was close to closing time on a Saturday, and I called the office to let them know that my car was going to be towed there. I asked them what I should do if they were closed when I got there, but Doug was so nice and professional in offering to stick around for 15 to 30 minutes past closing so that I could get my car inside. It is hard to find a mechanic shop that you can trust, but all of my dealings with the staff at expert tech increased my trust in the company. Even the tow truck driver told me that this was a good place and I was in good hands. There was no hard sales pitch I’m getting my car repaired, they just reported what the findings were and give me the option of what I wanted to have done. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic in the area

Went to ExperTec with my Lexus LS that needed some major service after hitting 120k miles. ExperTec’s pricing was below the dealership’s price and they did the work quickly, the only hold-​up was getting parts from Lexus. But, no worries, ExperTec even has loaner cars! Amazing.. . loaner cars at an independent repair shop. Plus, they have a 24k warranty on their repairs! After my great experience, my father in law now brings his Lexus and other two vehicles to ExperTec, and thanked me for the referral. And, they run a CLEAN facility.

Went in for an oil change and to look at my tires as one was leaking badly. My tread bar was showing and it was recommended to replace the tire, all 4 actually as I have an all wheel drive. It was costly, but I appreciated the guys going above and beyond to work with my budget especially as this was before Christmas to get me out the door with a price I could handle. They did a great job on the oil change, but I was more impressed with their customer service and honest disposition. Especially being a women. Will return.

Been doing my oil changes here for a while, always easy and fast in and out and super friendly and helpful staff. But last time I needed more than a simple oil change, I noticed my car sputtering and the gears wouldn’t change so I immediately took it to Expertec. They were fast to detect the issue (burned ignition coils), gave me a fair quote and explained the issue in very simple terms. So they proceeded to fix the issue and my car is been running like a spring chicken again! Thank you Expertec!

Get a second opinion. I used to go here for oil changes. Honest? I think not. They wanted to replace a belt, tensioner and pulley. They tried to bully me into getting the work done, said «you wouldn’t question your dentist, would you?.» (ps I had a dentist tell me I needed 3 crowns and got a second opinion, ended up getting just the fillings replaced). Trust your gut. I went to another shop, and all it really needed was belt. Also, one time they locked my keys in the car, and I had to call AAA to come and unlock it.

Been taking my vehicles here for years. Great friendly service and they stand behind their work. Recently had an issue with some Fabtech shocks that went bad within months of putting them on and they replaced them at no cost to me with some ProComp shocks. I have recommended them to many people and will continue too.

Roy is an honest man and runs an honest car shop. Extremely happy with the service. I got my brakes fixed and trunk fixed at no extra cost.
They even went above and beyond, looked for a used part online rather than simply ordering the newest piece for 2x the price online to save me some money.
They care about their customers. And they are real people. They’ve been in business for a long time, and it is no surprise given this experience.
I’ve used them many times in the past and will continue to use them going forward.
If you’re not sure about where to go because you had a bad experience somewhere else or you are new to the area, trust Roy and Expertec. They’ll get the job done and you’ll be happy you went there.

We had our 1967 Barracuda towed in for repair. Gary and his staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and fast. They diagnosed our car in a short time then repaired in a couple of hours and we were back on the road! We highly recommend this shop and if we need another repair, we are returning to ExperTec! Great job everyone!

Every experience with Expertec has been a positive one. They have exceptional customer service and have always gone above and beyond to provide a great experience at very affordable rates. I’ve had them handle minor repairs, oil changes, smog tests and major repairs and have always been happy. I will continue to take my car here.

Excellent place to get your auto serviced or repaired. They stand by their service. I will return for future service when needed. Highly recommended!

These guys are solid, ethical, and straight with you. They have a crazy amount of bays, but Gary will take care of you. I know they do a lot of fleet cars, so they have a solid reputation with agencies. I think Costco referrals get discounts too. 5 stars.

I took my car I’m for an oil change and Tire
Rotation. They told me to come back in 1hour. The place was super clean and the staff was great. I returned a little over an hour later and my car was ready to go, just like they promised. I have to say the gentleman that helped me… his name was Bob was very knowledgeable and has great customer service.
THANKS BOB!!! See at about 5,000 miles for my next oil change and tune up!

The guys at Expertec are fantastic, they located the issue where as two other facilities were unable to find. Not only did they fixed my sons Hyundai but gave a two year warranty and my wallet didn’t bleed out !!!

I am so thankful for the help Exper Tec has given me over the past few years! My vehicles may not still be running if not for their help. I have become a loyal and trusting customer.

I have a 1988 BMW which I wanted to get the tranny serviced and pan gasket replaced as they have a tendency to start leaking as mine was. I called around and the quotes were pretty outrageous. I then spoke to Derek who gave me a fast and accurate quote as to the work and parts needed. Which was fair. I scheduled an appointment and dropped my car off in the morning. The shop is large and very clean… Probably the cleanest shop I’ve ever seen lol! The car was ready same day with no additional charges. I felt comfortable leaving my baby there which most people can understand. He also checked my brakes for no additional charge. I would definitely come back in the future.

Wow. I originally gave this place 2 stars… but after receiving a nasty message from the business, im changing to 1 star… would be zero if i could.
Message (to me) from business: «Maybe you should go to your local car dealer if you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy experience. Otherwise quit your whining because nobody wants to hear it. Don’t come back.»
Definitely not a place I would ever want to take my business… and I definitely wouldn’t recommend… don’t worry, I WON’T be back!

Finally found my automotive spot! You can stop looking or worrying once you’ve read this. My wife recently brought her car into this shop for standard service, but she got outstanding service. Because of her experience I recently brought my Jeep Wrangler JK in for some brake issues. The shop is outstanding from start to finish. The staff was extremely friendly. I took the courtesy shuttle home and even the driver was an awesome guy. All of them very friendly. Now the meat and potatoes, they did a great job and even made sure I used my AAA for an additional discount. They were timely with the service (same day).
Shorter Story: Take your car here, no need to continue looking around hoping to find a place that won’t rip you off, because you just found that great place here!
