Mr. Hartman has a Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College, having majored in economics and business administration. He is a member of the California State Bar, Orange County Bar Association, and Long Beach Bar Association, and has served on the Board of Governors of the Long Beach Bar, chaired the arbitration committee of the Long Beach Bar, has been a delegate to the State Bar Conference of delegates, and has served as a Judge Pro Tem in the L.A. County Court. Mr. Hartman has an AV rating from Martindale-​Hubbell, the highest available peer rating for competency and ethics.
