Elegance Nail Salon

This last time I went I wasn’t happy with my service. The owner recognized my friend and I which was great.
My nail technician was Tracy made me feel uncomfortable. She did NOT smile once and the only thing she asked me was what color. After she’s down with me she starts helping my friend. At first she wasn’t smiling with her then started to smile and have a conversation with her. Which I found very rude.
I will return because the rest of the ladies have been very nice to me but I refuse to work with Tracy.

I love this salon, close to home and great people work here.

I felt this place just ok. The décor was bland and needing updating.
They had plenty of colors to choose from. My daughter and I had two girls work on us. My daughter wanted acrylics and a pedicure. I got gels and a pedicure. Both turned out wonderful!
Great customer service but their hygiene is questionable. All the tools they used were taken out of drawers not autoclaved packaging. After I got my pedicure a man came in to get a pedicure. They sat him at the same spa I was at and did not clean it after my pedicure.
My daughter and I love the way our nails look but won’t be back.

There is only 2 people working here. Took like 30 minutes before they even started our nails. My acrylic fullest cost 20 dollars & the manicure + design was 15 (10 without design). Honestly this is not the place to come for design. But I LOVE my acrylics ! Nice people.

I went into this shop on the day before my wedding to get my nails done. I needed a full set because I chew my nails really really low. I asked for a pedicure, eyebrows, and full set.
The lady doing my eyebrows said that I didn’t want a full set, I wanted «white tip» with a gel full set. I asked her if that’s the same as a French and she said yes it’s what they call French now.
Keep in mind I only get a full set every 10 years at best so I trusted she knew what she was talking about.
After sitting and watching her out these actual white tips (not clear with powder) on my nails that completely covered my nail bed, she happily pronounced I was done and let me walk out of the store and pay for this horrendous job.
I feel that I should of known better and spoken up at some point but I believed be was gonna do something to make them look normal and after she didn’t, I just wanted to get out of there.
I went and paid again to have them redone because I couldn’t stand the thought of her doing them over, nor did I think I would get a refund.
I’ll never go back here– it’s really gone downhill since the owners left to open a new shop in Irvine.

Took three ladies to finally finish my gel manicure. Tiffany was the last one, and she was definitely the best.
The first lady was cleaning/​cutting my cuticles and made me bleed on two of my fingers. She grabbed a bottle of blue «antiseptic» and dropped some drops on my fingers without saying anything. It stung really bad, and without a beat, she kept on cutting my cuticles. Um, really? This is NOT normal, and not hygienic. Their tools were not fresh out of a sterile pack, they stacked the uv-​light box on top of a stack of magazines and lastly, the french manicure paint job was sloppy, streaky and not straight.
I’ve definitely been to better nail salons in HB.

Loved the friendly family service, not like other salons that rush you in and out for the next $$$, great price will definitely be back

This is one of the better mani-​pedis I’ve had — and so cheap! It was only $ 22, plus I paid $ 5 extra for a callous remover.
The ladies working were delightful and actually talked to me instead of just each other. I had a great time, got great nails out of it, and will be back!

First off I tried this salon after trying the one behind Rita’s, and after shelling out $ 45 for a pedicure I wasn’t happy with I decided not to make that mistake again. I went in nervously, the salon looks old, but their customer service makes up for it. I’ve never been unhappy with their work. I will not go anywhere else as long as I live in hb. Nancy is wonderful! As is Tiffany! Nancy does wonderful work on my feet and is always so accommodating as I bring my 4 month old baby with me. She will talk to her and make her giggle and smile. She’s really wonderful! They both make small talk, and are very nice. My feet and hands come out looking perfect everytime, I don’t have to worry when I have them. I’ve never had anyone else at the salon to help me out, but these two are perfection. Thank you Nancy and Tiffany!

I had the day off yesterday and wanted to get my nails done at a local nail salon. I looked up a place on Unilocal and came to elegance nails after reading the reviews. I could immediately tell that the employee that would be doing my nails was annoyed that I was there (I think she was on her phone/​watching the TV when I walked in). She took a look at my nails and let out a HUGE sigh and said «so much dead skin.» Yeah. That’s why I’m here. Getting my nails done. Every time she would move to the next nail she would sigh and tell me how terrible my hands were. It was so uncomfortable and I regret not walking out. She became rougher and more aggressive as she moved to the next hand, and today my hands hurt A LOT. As soon as she finished she said «thank God that’s over. Just terrible!» Are you kidding me??? I think one of the other ladies saw that I was practically in tears and took over and painted my nails and sent that lady somewhere else. I never once complained or gave this woman attitude and I do not understand why I was treated this way. I came to get my nails done because they needed to be manicured, hence the dead skin! She was successful in completely embarrassing me and making me feel so uncomfortable to spend my money at this particular establishment.

Tiffany and Nancy are the best! I have been getting my nails did at Elegance Nails for over 10 years. These ladies work so hard. Tiffany is at the top of her game as far as the latest products. She even has ORGANIC nail gel! Wow. Nancy does the fancy decorations. Awesome. They always squeeze me in as I am one of those BAD clients that don’t make appointments. All I have to do is give her a call and she makes time for me. Wonderful gals. And her husband Dan is ok too… (:

I was obviously the Guinea pig for a newbie & PAID the price! Tiffany, the manager, even tried to correct, but made no difference in the outcome. Will need a redo of gel polish by this weekend, because the application was so poor! 3 days later!
Infected finger & toe after 24 hours! A free manicure & pedicure would not be a consideration.

Very nice ladies. Came in after being ignored at another salon in the center. This salon is tucked away behind the drug store. I got a full set and spa pedi for only $ 35 and they did a great job. Took there time, have a great color selection including OPI. I love in Newport Beach for this price and kind service I don’t mind driving out to HB :) I will be back

I came here because I read all the reviews on Unilocal.At first i wanted to get a full set with the confetti looking powder. But they didnt have it. They only had the white or pink powder. At first it was a bit disappointing, but I figured that i would just have a regular manicure…
Oh my was I in for a treat. The lady that helped me was amazing. Not only did she speak to me in English (actually everyone spoke English, even to each other!), she was very kind and gave me the best manicure and polish. My nails look amazing. And the manicure is sooo cheap. only $ 10! it was so cheap that i even decided to put a little flower on each on my ring fingers.
I am so happy that i have found this place. I will definitely be coming back and be bringing all of my friends.
