I’ve used Ed in the past to fix my Garage door spring. The service was great! It was so good I have sent 2 other friends to him and they both had great service. Fast, reliable, great value. Don’t use anyone else.

Very honest and great service. He was on time and his price was externally reasonable.

Ed fixed my garage door by replacing a part. He helped reduced my expected costs by working with my current garage door system.

Ed is one of the worst contractors I’ve dealt with!!! I had a very busy day planned he was over 2hrs late and would not answer his cell phone! I finally got a text two and a half hours later stating he would be there when he gets there? Getting to my house almost three hours later he made a mess of all of the garage parts and his tools which he left nails in my drive way which one of my pets walked on! After doing his work on the garage door it would not close all the way which he blamed the maker of the garage door? So after a estimated hour and a half quote it took four hours which I think he miked the clock to make more money! At the end of the job I had more a mess to clean up then I wanted to bargain for hardware scraps etc… I was very un pleased with work and performance!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN PERIOD!!!

I ordered 2 very expensive wood doors from Ed. I had the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any contractor for any of my houses or businesses. He’s a very hot headed person. While he was installing my doors, he was yelling at another client on the phone to stop calling him about the same problem. He left a lot of debris from cutting including nails, screws and metal scraps in my garage and all over the driveway. It made it a lot worse having a family with 4 young children. When Ed left with my check knowing that my garage was not complete to what we both agreed to, he said he would come back to do whatever he could to make it right. The next day I realized what a mess I had and noticed that he put 5 large nails into my finished cabinetry. After texting him about the situation, he replied «I’m actually done with your job, do what you got to do. Good luck.» Of course, this was after my check had just been cashed. I was completely baffled and had no idea what to do or what would cause him to act like this.
After 2 weeks of having my garage door hit my lift and not being able to open my cabinets, I finally got it fixed at my own expense and time. :(
I hope everybody has the chance to read this and doesn’t have to go through the experience that I had. He is a man of many words and promises with no backing to his word or work ethic. Hands down the worst business practices I’ve ever come across.

Gave Ed a call and unlike other places, he actually picked up! Ed was on time, straight forward with pricing and was even able to fix my problem in the same day. It could not have gone any smoother.

Ed is the best ! My wood garage door needed new springs and correct alignment. Ed answered the phone Saturday morning and he finished the job immediately that same morning. I am extremely pleased with his professionalism, service, price, attitude, and expertise. If you live in or near Huntington Beach, call Ed !

Found Ed on Unilocal.Called him up. He answered and let me know he was in my area… he stopped by to take a look and figured out the issue. Gave me a quote to fix the problem and scheduled to come back the next day to do the repairs. Gave me some tips on how to prevent any further issues.
I can’t begin to thank Ed for his great service and reasonable pricing. If you need anything done with you Garage Door or need a new one — CALL ED! I know I’ll be a customer for life!

Unilocal does it again! Found Ed on Unilocal with all 5-​star reviews, and he did not disappoint. Arrived right on time, explained what he was doing, got our door tuned up and working smoothly. Even screwed in the button in the garage that was loose. Glad he left his stickers right where we can find them, so we can call him next time we need a service. He also sells and installs new doors.

I recently purchased a condo in hb adn and after about 3 months my garage door was giving me trouble untill it just wouldent close anymore, I looked up garage door service near me and called around, i like to do a bit of research b4 I pay for a service so that I dont get reemed, I was apprehensive about having someone else come in for service and after calling 4 different places I decided to have ed come out. I was waiting for the upsell spiel but when he got there he recommended some fix’s and gave me options for a new setup but i decided i didnt to spend the dough. He was really cool, fair and straight forward and didnt push me to buy a bunch of stuff i didnt need. I am very happy with his service nad would recommend him to someone who wants good customer service and doesnt want to get reemed or a spiel on needing to spend a bunch of money for a whole new setup. good customer service is hard to find and when your good to me im a customer for life, i definitly recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their garage setup! cheap, fair and honest and havent had a problem since!!!

I had a bent bracket on a garage door from a company that is no longer around. I feared an expensive full replacement ordeal. I described the issue to Ed, he said he had a heavy duty bracket that he could install, quoted me a fair price and came out a few hours later when I got home from work. Replaced the bracket and serviced the door & springs. Great guy, highly recommended! Door works great and doesn’t squeak anymore either!

Yes it was a weekday and I was on my way to work at 6:30 am and the garage door cable snaps and the door is stuck halfway locked. I looked on Unilocal and one of the garage door repair guys referred me to Ed. Ed was a true blessing! He arrived at 7:30 and explained the problem right away without trying to overcharge me or recommending a new door. He was very fair in price and finished very quickly, provided great garage door maintenance and was a great guy. Zoomed off to work soon after and saved the day! Thanks so much Ed!
