Hands down, the best tree service in the area. Super nice guys who are very professional but cool at the same time. They get the job done quickly but proficiently and always do a great job cleaning up. I would strongly recommend them if you are looking for quality tree services.

We were referred to David’s tree service by a friend when we lived in Corona, CA. We had multiple massive Pine trees in our yard that were infected with beetles and needed them taken down for a reasonable cost. The workers that came were polite and informative and knew what they were doing! Our trees were safely and quickly removed including the stumps! We couldn’t have been happier with the service provided. Thank you for making our yard clean and desirable!

David’s Tree Service trims our 70′ Palm trees every year. From start to finish everything goes smooth. The people in the office are polite and seem to be on top of things. The crew is always on time, polite and so efficient! They treat me right, charge a fair price and get the job done. As long as they keep up the great work, I will always be using them.

David’s tree service has been cutting all of the Palm trees in our neighborhood for years. We depended on them every July to thoroughly trim them properly. We’ve never had a «botched» job by them. We live downtown Huntington surrounded by a good amount of palms and every house on our block uses them! You won’t be disappointed.

Best prices and best service around. Clean professional and thorough!!! The workers know trees and how to trim and shape them. After they finish, they did a thorough cleaning as if they weren’t ever there!!! My gardeners aren’t as good as they are! I will be recommending your company to all my neighbors.

I would highly recommend David’s Tree Service. Starting from the estimator Matt and finishing with their billing department, they have had amazing customer service and quick and clean crew. They were able to come within a day for estimation. They were able to schedule the service within the same week and complete the job exactly the time that they allocated. Can’t rave enough about them. So far I have used them for 3 different projects and everything has been superb.

They are great! They came out today on an emergency call… fallen tree branch. I tried calling some other tree service companies and they were the only ones who called back and got on it right away. Matt was so nice and explained everything we needed to do in detail… his crew did a great job!

I have to add that a year later, the little ‘palm’ tree (the non-​specific nomenclature I give to every tree that looks like it belongs in the tropics) that David’s pruned for us, turned out to be a banana tree! We had absolutely no idea that the previous owners had planted one. In fact, a neighbor told us that it was to the prior owner’s disappointment that the tree never produced. Not sure when they planted it, but they lived in this home for 55 years! We’ve had so many over this past year that we could compete with Chiquita! So, thank you once again for your excellent service!

From our first phone call, everyone with this company has been very professional. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate within a week.
Matt was the arborist who came out. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. After we walked through, he was able to write up a detailed estimate and print it out from the truck — awesome! The prices were exactly on par with what we were expecting, if not less. We scheduled our service for about two weeks out.
The crew arrived early, which I appreciate, were very professional, efficient and did a great job! There is an art to this and they got it right.

Needed to get a large tree and some bushes majorly trimmed and cut. This company was easy to work with and did their work and they were done. It was a pleasure to work with them and it seems like I will need to contact them every other year, to keep our tree maintained.

They called back once and said they had a guy out that day for estimates and to call them back right away. I did and left a message. No response. So i give up on this company. Too bad

I called David’s Tree Service to ask about cutting the seed pods off my neighbors foxtail Palm, worried that my dog would eat the toxic berries that were falling in our yard. When I called they had me send them a picture of the palm tree. Turns out it is not the Palm we thought it was and is not toxic to dogs! Instead of just taking my word for it and taking my money, David’s tree service educated me about the Palm and eased my fears about my dog getting sick. Their customer service was excellent over the phone and they were so kind to help me even though I didn’t end up needed their services. I will definitely call them again when I need tree services in the future!

They came to trim my trees in the front and back yard. My plum tree in the front yard (10 years old) never bloomed again and died. My other large tree also died. I had an arborist look at them and was told the trees died of a disease introduced by the cutting tools used by the tree service. This will cost me hundreds of dollars to have the trees torn out and replaced. I will never use them again.

I wasn’t happy with the tree trimmers I’d been using. It was always difficult to reach the owner to make an appointment. We had five 30′ high Silver Sheen shrubs in our back yard. One was dead and the rest were dying. We needed to have them replaced ASAP. I called David’s Tree Service and was able to set up an appointment for someone to come out in a couple of days. Matt confirmed my suspicions that all the shrubs needed to go. They all had bark borer infections. He was very patient while we tried to navigate our HOA. He was responsive to my emails and had a lot of good advice. We eventually decided to go with Italian Buckthorn shrubs instead of trees. Matt made numerous calls trying to find well-​developed plants in 15 gallon containers. It took about a week to find them. The crew that came to take out the dying shrubs and plant the new ones did a great job. They were very careful as they removed everything and then took out the stumps. They consulted me several times about the proper placement of the new shrubs. My husband and I were both very happy with the job they did. We also felt that they charged a very reasonable price. Come fall, we’ll be calling them to take over the tree-​trimming for the remaining trees in our yard.

David’s Tree Service recently trimmed an older pomegranate tree for me. This tree fills half of my tiny backyard and produces great fruit enjoyed by many friends. It is very important to me, I love this tree, so was nervous about having anyone trim it and would do it myself. That became difficult so I chose David’s to do the job. They were entirely professional from beginning to end, following my instructions and understanding my concerns. The tree is thriving, filled with blooms right now, and I am so happy.

I had the displeasure of dealing with these guys yesterday. My neighbors hired these guys to cut some trees in the backyard on the fence line. First off they block my driveway where we had to cut through our other neighbors driveway to get to ours, and not allowing us to angle the car to pull into the garage forcing the car to be outside. They start trimming the trees and as a bunch of branches are falling and crushing our plants in our yard, my wife asks if they can be careful because they are damaging our plants, there response «it will grow back». Then apparently one of the workers took a liking to my wife and made a couple unprofessional comments towards her. Then as my wife is having to clean all the trash that fell into our yard the same guy tells my wife oh here you have leaves on you let me brush them off. Thinking they were gone, we get a knock at the door its the guy with the comments asking for a towel to dry my car, my wife flipped! Apparently the car got dirty from the mulching machine and took it upon himself to hose off and attempt to dry my car. I get home to find my car to have just been partially hosed off and half dried with nice swirling marks on my hood and roof, and water spots everywhere. I contacted Davids tree service. The receptionist was pleasant to talk to, she gave my issue to a manager. Forward to me meeting the manager, he inspected my vehicle and agreed with my findings. Won’t get into what the excuse was for the employee with the comments. The manager then apologized for all the issues we had to deal with and offered himself to polish my car, ok very nice of you but im not gonna let anyone TRY to polish my black car. The manager wasn’t a bad guy to deal with, but at the end of the day the work they did on the tree was good. I will give them that, BUT the work was done next door! Yet I had all these issues with these guys, and now im screwed with having to clean up their mess on my side, and a filthy scratched up car! I would definitely not recommend these guys, not for their work, just for the fact of the disregard for other people’s property and unprofessional way they conducted themselves, or one guy conducted himself.

We have been using David’s Tree Service for a few years now and we are very happy with the work they do. They are reliable, honest, and do a great job. Their prices are fair too. We have used other tree services in the past, but we are staying with David’s because they are the best around.

Just had 5 palm trees two of them being the size of the Empire state building trimmed. I am once again very happy with the work this company does. They communicate very well with me every time I use them. For what it’s worth I’d highly recommend this company. Thanks again guys.

Finally! A reliable tree company who hasn’t let me down! I’ve talked to several companies and never really felt that they knew what I wanted… Or took me serious. We finally used David’s Tree service and were blown away with their service. First and foremost they were very accommodating and friendly… Second; the service was fast and great! I will definitely keep calling them to have any tree service done and I will definitely refer to a couple people I know who’s been looking to do some stuff. Thanks David’s tree service! You guys rock.

I had David’s tree service come out in March of this year to remove two trees, the stumps, and install several feet of tree root barriers. I had asked the crew foreman to knock on the door when the tree stumps were removed before covering up the holes with soil. He never bothered, but just told me the stumps were gone. Later on before he began installation of the tree root barrier, I carefully explained where the barriers needed to be installed. Once again I asked him to leave everything exposed before covering it up with soil. I returned to find everything covered up. When I asked the foreman if he installed the barrier near the edge of the fence (where the walk-​way had began to show a hairline crack) he said repeatedly that he did. I took a shovel while he was there and began uncovering the area to find out that he lied! The tree root barrier was an entire foot and a half away from the fence and the tree roots were still there! The only way I could resolve this issue was to contact the service agent at the office who made it right by telling the foreman to redo the barriers as discussed. I have no patience for dishonest employees who just want to do a half-​ass job!
I will never hire David’s tree service again, and if you do make sure you stand there to check over all of their work cause that’s the only way it will be done correctly.
It is six months later (September 2014) and unfortunately I have mini trees growing where David’s Tree service removed the 2 trees. I had my gardener dig to investigate and he uncovered that both tree stumps were still there along with huge roots! The stumps had sprouted new baby trees. I contacted David’s tree service but they couldn’t come out. I was asked to send photos which I did. Not sure if I trust this company to do anything right!

I called David’s Tree Service to have the trees at my father-in-law’s house trimmed. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job trimming all of the trees and cleaned up after themselves well. Highly recommended!

Wonderful work by a great team. They arrived on time, cutting on three sides of my house at the same time, and were carefull not to drop any branches into my neighbors yard. Cleanup was great also. I will definetly call them the next time I need tree service.

Called on Friday and got estimated for palm tree trim the same day, was perfect. Scheduled 2 days later, Monday from 12pm to 4pm. Called office to confirm at 3:30pm and everything was on scheduled. Fifteen minutes before 5pm same day a trimmer guy called indicated having technical/​machine problems and would be at the earliest. I waited and called back around 6pm, no answer from the trimmer and only voice mail from the office. No one called back. Very disappointed with regretted my trust and faith with David’s Tree Service from the beginning. I would not use or recommend to anyone.

Great company! Brian (one of their arborists) came out to look at several trees around the house, and concluded that 7 needed to come down. All of them were either touching the house, had canopies directly over the roof and chimney, growing out through the wood deck, or were leaning over the house and were dead. I was concerned about how to get the trees down with them being in precarious positions, but Brian assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem.
Four of their men showed up this morning and did an incredible job. They were on time, worked safely and professionally, and cleaned up every branch and leaf that fell. They asked before they started cutting into the deck, and told me about a sprinkler head they thought they may have knocked off. Very honest and professional, I highly recommend them!

This is one great company! They trimmed several of my palm trees, front and back, they were on time, cleaned up all the mess that fell down, were professional, and extreemly polite! I would recomend them for all tree service!

I got a couple of quotes for cutting down a 35′ tree that was wreaking havoc on my foundation. David’s Tree Service was the highest, but after studying the quotes and talking to all the contractors I went with DTS. (My rationale was that if this guy shows up in a nice car, he can probably be sued if anything went wrong) ;)
And I couldn’t have made it worse conditions either. the tree was in the back yard. Its canopy spread over my roof line and my neighbors garage. My AC condenser was under the tree. My phone lines and power lines ran through the tree. My deck was fixed to the base of the tree.
These 4 guys (Gus, Fransisco, Angel, and Jose) worked like a finely conducted orchestra lowering each branch by rope. With the exception of a broken plank on my deck and a few dents to the lawn, these guys were amazing. No buyers remorse after that experience!
