This place was really good! Not great but defiantly worth the 10 bucks for lunch. By far the best Naan.

Warning: this review is purely based on my attempt to eat here, not the food as none was ever received. Ordered through Unilocal using the Eat24 app and although my bank account was charged, the order was«never processed.» What the Eat24 representative referred to as a ghost order now recommended I screenshot my bank info and send to their customer service to ensure I never get charged. Cool… Still hungry I decide to still give this place a try and call to place an order directly. After painstakingly trying to confirm my address the person taking my order sees my city location and says«oh that’s more than 14 miles away, we don’t deliver there.» Living in central Orange County there’s almost nothing that’s more than 14 miles away and still within Orange County limits. Rather than calling the girl a liar I map it out on my phone to find I’m 10 miles away. Instead of risking contaminated food by calling back to prove a point I’ll just never dine here. Shame good reviews too…

We wanted to love this place. We do like it, it is not, however, a Tustin Indian Restaurant. Not quite there. We had the potatoes and cauliflower the Chana masala(chick peas) and chicken tikka masala. Rice and garlic nann. The chick peas were the best. The potato dish was too dry and some of the potatoes were not cooked through enough. The chicken was dryer than dry. Tasted great. Sauce was great but if the chef cooked the chicken to order it could have been stellar. The waitress knew in advance that I wanted fresh chicken. If that was fresh chicken then I will eat my hat. It could have been much improved with correctly cooking the chicken. So, is four stars overly generous? Maybe but they have the basics down pat. It’s the aspect of insisting on freshest of organic ingredients and always fresh never frozen or microwaved proteins. Cooked to order.

Friendly staff, delicious food! I ordered Paneer Purjee and made it extra spicy and I ordered rice and garlic naan all to go from the Unilocal app. The restaurant is very clean inside and the portions are very large so worth the money.

It’s was my first time here today. Im Irish and been looking for a good curry for years. I even started to make my own. But it’s nothing like going out to eat and relaxing to a good restaurant made curry. I ordered The chicken vindaloo extra spicy and it was nothing short of perfection!!! So AMAZINGJOBTHEREGUYS! I also got an order of the chicken stuffed Nam bread witch just went with the curry perfectly! A cold beer to wash it down and I’m a happy guy! Can’t wait to go back! And i seen they deliver I will for sure be ordering soon! This place is a must try!!!

Love love looove this place. Went here on a whim and we had the best food and great service. Looks family owned, possibly indian parents in the kitchen slingin’ some authentic dishes… this will definitely be one of our regular spots. We ordered vegetable samosas to start, with the chicken tikka masala(BEST!) and a paneer tikka dish, and garlic naan(YUM!). Also get the mango lassi drink. AMAZING.

Curry and Kabab is a great choice for all you can eat Indian buffet lunch. +10% off for Unilocal customers! The buffet is well stocked with the traditional Indian dishes such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Chicken Vindaloo, and even Curry Goat. I did my best to try it all and it tasted fantastic. Just put all the stuff I just mentioned on a little bit of rice and you’ll love it. There is a salad bar too if you want some greens, and veggie appetizer options in the buffet. One of my favorite parts is that Curry & Kabab has Garlic Naan IN the buffet. That mean you can have as much Garlic Naan as you want!!! NOMNOMNOM! I can’t get enough delicious Naan :-D So bottom line: Curry & Kabab has good food, is well priced, and also has great staff. You gotta try it out!

Lamb Bhuna, delicious. Also had the Chicken Coconut Curry and potato/spinach dish. All were great. Ordered the Garlic Naan and next time will get two! While I waited for my food I drank Chai tea that was so good. Wonder if they do Masala Chai Tea. Next time! Great little place and very friendly.

I love Indian food and this place has it down! We’ve had their Somosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Vindaloo, Paneer Masala with added chicken, the rack of lamb and of course Garlic Naan. For refreshments, try their Mango Lassi and tea. Drink them in between bites and you will be in heaven. So GOOD!

I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food, but Indian fare has always scared me due to a few past experiences. So, it’s taken me literally over a decade to even try Indian food again. My fiancé had been trying to get me to get Indian food with him for a long time before I finally caved. I scoured Unilocal for a local Indian spot with decent reviews and came across this place. First time we came here, it was very quiet. There was only one other group of people there. I immediately became nervous. A quiet restaurant is not normally a good sign for me. Our server was really nice and attentive. She took the time to explain the menu, her favorites, etc. I settled on the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and holy crap it was GOOD!!! The flavors were on f’ing point… It was unreal. It had just the right amount of heat and the chicken was tender and juicy. I used the garlic naan to soak up the sauce and it was heavenly. I’m sad that we no longer live closer to this magical place, but when we get our Indian cravings, we don’t mind making the trek here at all.

Located in same plaza as Toys R Us across from Goldenwest College. Came for dinner. The Chicken Tikka Masala was good though I still do not prefer white meat AND it was expensive for the quantity provided. Pashwari Naan was sweet w coconut strips and raisins which was yummy. Mango lassi was delicious and a nice portion Coming back to try lunch buffet

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Food was superb, from apprised to entrees. Great service, super clean and nice decorations with fine linen tablecloths and napkins. Definitely will recommend to friends and will be back again.

Very decent Indian food in HB. A bit pricey, but it’s satisfying for sure. The portions don’t look huge, but don’t underestimate the filling-nature of naan and curry. Food: compared to the Indian food in berkeley, which I ate at least once a week, i wouldn’t say it was fantastic, but for HB, I would say it hits the spot. The chicken Tikka Masala was delicious but not quite as good as I became accustomed to. The garlic naan was flavorful and not burnt, so that was good. The ambiance is pretty nice, and the feel is very comfortable. It wasn’t too busy at dinner time, so we were in and out pretty quick. The service was great. I would say the prices are a bit high for the food, but it wasn’t crazy. Overall, it’s a good place for dinner. It seems to be great for casual dining, but it seems good for a dinner date as well.

Exactly A-Ok. I tried the buffet lunch special for $ 10. Obviously you can graze all you want with a buffet. I am just not someone that can eat more than one plate of food. It was worth trying the different dishes that way. Decent Indian food. I might try off their regular menu if I go back. The service was friendly.

Quick tips: 1. THEGARLICNAANISOFFTHECHARTSAMAZING. 2. Lunch buffet everyday from 11:00AM — 2:45PM. Pricing: M-F $ 9.99, S-SU $ 13.95(includes bottomless mimosas) 3. Mimosas can be substituted with any other drink. 4. Spicy masala sauce on request. 5. You can get a buffet box to go, which comes with garlic naan on the side. My girlfriend and I have come to the Sunday buffet like 4 times in the last 6 weeks. The mimosas here are decent strength. The best part is besides mimosas, you can substitute your mimosa for a soft drink or a mango lassi, a yogurt drink. I highly recommend the mango lassi! The buffet is split into two parts. The first part has cold items, while the other part is a larger hot food area that has their wonderful curries, both with veggies as well as with meat. There are several desserts as well. The cold item cart has sauces and salads. Among the sauces are a cucumber reita, which is a yogurt cucumber sauce, a spicy cilantro chutney, and a very sweet and mildly tangy tamarind chutney. Along with the sauces include a nice little cucumber salad and usually another kind of garbanzo beans based creamy salad. The sauces are amazing. The cucumber reita is perfectly seasoned as the tanginess of the yogurt compliments the cucumber’s freshness perfectly. The tamarind chutney is also excellent for those who prefer a sweeter sauce rather than a savory one. The cilantro chutney has a bit of a kick, but is so flavorful. My suggestion is to take a little bit of each of these sauces and combine them on piece of naan! As for the salads, there is really nothing special about them, but they are fantastic. The cucumber salad is fresh, but could be stocked more often, and the garbanzo bean based salad kind of reminds me of a potato salad, so take that as you will. For the hot food, we have a bit of a longer list. Among the wall you will find a various assortment of appetizers, protein dishes and curries, veggie dishes and curries, and dessert. For the appetizers, there is garlic naan, basmati rice, vegetable samosas, and vegetable pakora. The garlic naan is amazing. Absolutely. Amazing. If they run out, just let them know and they will bring you some fresh from the kitchen. Their veggie samosas have some special spice in them that makes them really savory, however, the wrapper on them are a hit or a miss. If they’ve been out too long they are just sort of doughy and not great to eat. As for the vegetable pakora, it just looks like breaded veggies. The protein dishes and curries are what makes this one of the better buffets. To start with, as ever Indian buffet offers, they have tandoori chicken. There is nothing really special about their chicken, but it’s tasty enough. They don’t do anything too particular to make it better, but it is all dark meat. Besides tandoori chicken, they offer two chicken curries and one goat curry. The two chicken curries are chicken tikka masala and chicken korma(?). The chicken tikka masala is a fantastic yogurt blend that is infused with spices to give it the orange color that it has. The chicken chunks are wonderful! I think the other chicken dish was chicken korma or chicken karahi. This chicken curry is a little more veggie based and has a different more pronounced and bold taste. While the chicken tikka masala is more about cream, this chicken karahi or korma dish is more about flavor profiles. Lastly, they offer goat bhuna or goat curry. This type of curry is not for those who dislike a little gaminess to their meat. I liked it alot since it reminded me of lamb! The veggie dishes are not really something I can comment on from being good or not. I am as a lot of people know a consummate carnivore. Here are the types of veggie curry dishes available: daal makhani, navratan korma, baigan bharta, and saag paneer. The daal makhani is lentils stewed in a creamy sauce. The navratan korma is a curry style veggie dish that is sort of a throw all you can into a pot and stew. The baigan bharta is an eggplant dish. Lastly, the saag paneer is a spinach dish that is stewed with cheese. None of the veggie dishes really stood out for me, but these are good options for those who are vegetarians. Lastly, there are a few dessert options: Kheer, Gulab Jaman, Gajar Halwa. The kheer is a fantastic rice pudding that pairs well with the gajar halwa a dish that is made with carrots but mimics rice. Just adding the two together is delightful. The other dessert is the gulab jaman or milk balls. These milk balls are fried and doused with honey. This dessert was our least favorite of the bunch. Service is fantastic here. The waitress and waiters are all VERY, VERY nice and very accommodating. There are never dirty plates that sit out for too long or glasses that stay unfilled. I commend them on their service and friendliness. Furthermore, the price is such a great value! Please come by and try them out!

Pretty not bad place. The service was pretty friendly and on top of their game. The naan was simply amazing, so fluffy and soft. And tasty. I got the bottomless mimosas and they were always ready to top it off when it was empty. Love that.

I ate here on Wednesday and I totally forgot to write a review! This place is quite nice inside! I definitely was by expecting it because of the name and the plaza. There is a lot of parking outside because it is in a strip mall. Since my sisters and I could not have meat that day since it was Ash Wednesday, we decided to get the shrimp tikka masala, kufte(forgot the real name of it), garlic naan bread(we love our carbs), and some appetizers that I forgot the names of so I just won’t mention those! First off, we LOVE the garlic naan bread. We started off with 2 orders and ordered another 2 orders while eating to finish dipping with our sauces from our entrees. The shrimp tikka masala was a definite winner for me! I loved the sauce! The shrimp were nice and plump! They cleaned the shrimp nicely too! The garlic naan bread and this sauce is a definite must! The kufte was okay. It was not as crispy as other kuftes I had at other places. But it did go nicely with the sauce. The sauce is more tomato based. This one was okay. But my oldest sister did like this one, so I suppose it’s up to you if you like tomato based stuff or not. I liked this place. This was my first Indian place. I expected to not like this place because I always thought Indian food was supposed to be filled with spices and a strong turmeric flavor, however this was not the case at all! I absolutely loved it! I will definitely be coming back! I want to do the all you can eat lunch and also try the chicken tikka masala. I heard the chicken here is super soft! My sisters friends had these when we ate and they were going on and on about how moist and tender the chicken was! Can’t wait for my next visit!

This was my first time trying Indian food and it wasn’t bad at all. The waiters and staff were nice. We were the only patrons in the restaurant for dinner so it was very quiet. Their mango lassi was very watered down, I wish it was a little thicker. I did enjoy their chicken tikka masala. It reminds me of a curry dish my mom makes. The garlic naan bread tasted good dipping it in the sauce. The chicken tandoori was alright. I thought it was pretty plain and boring. It wasn’t bad, but I expected more flavor. You also get 10% off for checking in. Was a good way to start off my first experience with Indian food. Can’t wait to try other places.
