Coast Motor Werk specializes exclusively in the maintenance, repair, and modification of BMW and MINI Cooper automobiles. We pride ourselves in providing the very best workmanship, convenience and value to our customers. It is our goal to become your dealership alternative. At our shop, we provide bumper to bumper service of old and new vehicles, and we are equipped with the knowledge and tools to do so.

Coast Motor Werk strives to maintain very high standards. We limit our advertising to local public and club events, we sponsor school programs at local schools, and we place our business cards on BMWs and MINI Coopers at local stores and malls. But we have found the very best advertising comes from satisfied CMW customers and clients. Our customers want competence, value and convenience, and that is what we are here to provide.

History

Established in 2005.

We are BMW and MINI Cooper owners and are enthusiastic about servicing them. For four years we have been servicing and maintaining new and existing customers’ BMWs and MINI Coopers. Over the last 7 years we have grown and expanded from a 3100 square foot dark and dirty shop with two hoists to a 7500 foot bright, clean, 10 hoist shop. We have built a very nice and comfortable customer lounge with wireless internet. We take pride in the high standard of work that we strive to maintain. We know that our customers realize the value of our specialization, expertise, and uncompromising standards, as well as our personal attention and personable atmosphere. We are very serious about our profession, and we work continually to be true craftsmen when it comes to the service, repair and maintenance of BMW and MINI Cooper vehicles.

Meet the Business Owner

Ron I.

Business Owner

Ron is a Huntington Beach local and has been working with his hands since taking apart a bicycle back in 1976 at the age of 8. Later, as a student at Marina high school, bicycles became mopeds and then cars. Soon it became clear that cars were going to be a passion of his. In 1996 while pit crewing for a race at Long Beach Grand Prix, the BMW bug bit him. The pair of BMW M5s took first and second as the poor 500hp supercharged Mustang he was helping with finished 8^th. After investigation in the pits, Ron discovered that the M5s were just 6 cylinders and normally aspirated. Shortly afterwards Ron purchased his first BMW. Since then he has purchased many cars, but all were BMWs. He worked on BMWs at two shops in Huntington Beach before going to Crevier BMW in Santa Ana. In May of ’05 Ron left the dealer and started CMW. «I truly believe BMW builds the very best cars. I have seen the others inside and out, and my vehicles will always have a spinning prop (or MINI wings) on the hood.»
