Left to their own devices, most addicts/alcoholics are unable to ever make the decision to get help. As a result families and friends suffer right along with the dependent.
The good news from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, (NIDA), is that not only intervention, (professionally facilitated), a proven technique is arresting the disease of alcoholism/drug addiction. Statistics also show that long term recovery can also be the outcome of a well orchestrated intervention.
At Coast 2 Coast Interventions, our team of professionals has helped thousands of addicts and their families come to terms with their powerlessness over addiction through alcohol and drug intervention. As a result, we’ve seen people from all walks of life – men and women, alcoholics and addicts, executives and teenagers – stop the downward spiral and take the first and most important step toward recovery.

Business Owner
Mike Torricelli was born and raised in Southern California, (South Pasadena). Went to San Diego State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He worked his way to a successful career in International Insurance Brokerage. Later his drinking and drug use contributed to his eventual financial and spiritual demise. After Mike went through treatment and therapy, he began working as a volunteer on several «helplines», talking to individuals who were looking for help. Many of the calls came from family members of alcoholics and addicts who didn’t want help.
At this point, there was much interest in the intervention process after Betty Ford was approached by a prominent Psychiatrist (Dr. Joseph Pursch). They later opened the «Betty Ford Center». Mike soon developed his own adaption of Dr. Pursch’s approach to intervention Here we are 20 years later. Mike has traveled over 3 million miles and facilitated over 620 successful interventions.
