Finally they’re CLOSED!!! There is glimmer of hope in wishing after all…

Came here on Sunday’s with my family. Overall it has friendly professional staff that knows what they’re doing. In my opinion the food was amazing. I would choose Carrows any day than choose to eat at Denny’s or IHOP where the food isn’t that great and not well cooked. I give props to the cooks here! Will be coming back here every time to satisfy my cravings!

Worst restaurant ever why is this place open? how do they managed to still be in business? the service is as good as the food I feel too overwhelmed by the disgusting lumpy brunt out food and horrendous service to write a review aftet I recover I will write a better detailed review

horrible food what you can’t make a medium well steak?
Waitress told us the food was pre cooked. All they do is warm it! mash potatoes from a bag, pre cooked burger to replace the steak that looks like shoe leather, no thank you.
Corn bread with fresh salad was made today before we got here oh wait that’s not fresh… That’s why it was so dry!
Sorry your meal was so bad I will give you a piece of cake to make up for it the cake was frozen too???
Dear owner of a s***** franchise please close down and save your customers money so they can eat real food somewhere else!

My review is based on customer service, because I didn’t even get a chance to order any food. I’ve never ate here before and I never will give them a chance again. First of all. They ran out of prime ribs. Um okay, whatever. But it was super slow and it’s a Wednesday. Waitress (didn’t get a chance to get her name, but she was blonde. Read in previous reviews that blonde waitress doesn’t know what customer service is) got my family and I a round of drinks, and spilled the last drink which was on her tray all over herself. I guess she got frustrated and threw her straw first at my son then at my dad. Really?! Who’s fault was it? Don’t take your frustration out on your customers. I told her what she did, and of course she denied and argued back that she didn’t do it. My family and I left immediately. I will not tolerate bad customer service, and a liar. I would give zero stars if I could.

Hubby and I have come here several times since they started their 2 for $ 20.00 (Prime Rib) Special. BUT NO MORE after last night! Eating here can be dangerous to your health! The waitress seemed over 250lbs. and unkempt. This was almost enough to turn off our appetites. The salad was old and they were out of Ranch dressing. (OUT!). Hubby’s had mostly white chunk lettuce with brown edges. He did not eat most of it. When I asked for olive oil she brought me some «soy and olive oil».
I took a small taste with my spoon and it tasted very RANCID. When I told her about this she barely shrugged. The creamed spinach had waaay too much sodium. The baked potatoes were very dry without taste. The MEAT? The medium rare was very thin, dry, and rubbery with areas of pure fat. The horse radish sauce tasted spoiled.
When I paid our bill the same waitress did NOT ask me, «How was everything?»
YOU CANNOT DRAG ME INTO THIS RAT HOLE EVER AGAIN!

Worst service EVER!!! Will never come back! Came in today for their prime rib dinner ordered our food waited 45 mins for the rude blonde waitress to tells us they ran out! 45 mins! In the 45 mins our water never came, none of our sides came and no utensils nothing! Don’t ever sit in the blonde girl’s section!

The service is always been terrible here but we endured. Tonight was no exception not very crowded actually not crowded at all but the service is extremely slow after 50 minutes of sitting I decided to leave she didn’t take my order until after we were sitting for 25 minutes and then after 15 minutes I finally got my silverware still waiting on my salad and my drinks we decided to go elsewhere I doubt I will ever come back to this place even after they followed out offering me a 25 percent discount I let them know I would pass

I’ve been a regular here for several years, but the last 2 time I’ve been here the service has been extremely bad. When I complained to the casher/​waitress she laughed. I’ve never felt more insulted by a restaurant. You’ll be doing yourself a favor by steering clear of this place.

My family and I have been going to this location for over 20 years. Over the last 5 years this location has begun to get worse and worse with service and food quality. Today for the first time in over 2 years we went back for the strawberry breakfast, what a huge mistake that was. The service was extremely slow, the eggs were runny, the food was cold, and the sausage tasted weird. We truly used to love this restaurant but now it will be a long long time before we ever return again if ever.

Horrible horrible service. The worst ever in my life. When we arrived, nobody greeted us, and when we said there were 7 of us, they said all the big tables are occupied and we would have to wait 30 mins. So I asked if we could move a table around and make it a big table because the place was half empty. The server looked at me and said ok you can do it! And yes that meant we had to move the tables around ourselves. When we sat down, no one asked for drinks or brought over utensils for 15 mins, the servers didn’t even bother to come by when we waived for service. Generally the worst place to go to for Sunday breakfast and any fast food place would have better service than carrows.

This was my late grandma’s favorite place to eat. Traditionally as a family we eat here on her birthday every year. She loved this place. All the employees here knew her. So this place get 5 stars because it would be what my grandma would have rated them.

Very dirty place and the food was so so. Nothing to make me want to run back for.

My burger was great! My fries were average.
The service was very, very slow. I think the server was overwhelmed because I was with a large group. But with over 20 people, all expecting a meal at the same time, in a reserved room, why did the management only schedule one server?
The bathroom was very, very dirty. I was disgusted. I’ll try it again on another occasion, just to be fair, when I’m back in HB. But I’ll only try it again because the burger was so good.

First time I came here I was craving some chicken alfredo. The server was very kind and professional, unfortunately the chicken alfredo had some burnt chicken.
I came here a second time (which ended up being worse) and ordered a new york steak medium, it came well done/​burnt wow wtf is wrong here. The waitress this time was too busy talking with someone in the back while checking her text. I had to walk up to the register because it felt like They had no time to give me a check or ask how everything was. I was finally asked how my meal was when I was about to pay, I told her the steak was too well done and she did not even care what I had to say. She printed out the receipt and went on with checking her text messages. I am not coming back again.

This place rates at least a 4+ for several reasons: it has a well-​trained and very efficient staff, all the food is prepared fresh, the menu is pretty comprehensive and the prices are very fair. This Carrow’s is very close to my office and whether I want a breakfast that will keep me going all morning or just a quick salad at lunch I can find it here. The big plus is that the staff is super friendly… no matter how slammed they are at peak rush times. I don’t know how they do it but thanks, Carrows!

Was craving Eggs Benedict this morning and decided to give Carrow’s a try. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by an up-​beat hostess and seated right away. I ordered their Eggs Benedict with «County Potatoes» (diced potatoes chunks grilled with chopped onions) and a hot coffee (~$ 11). The food came out in literally 5 minutes and the portion size was enormous. Everything was delicious and the waitress was very attentive and offered to refill my coffee twice.
Summary: Amazing breakfast joint with equally amazing service, definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area.

Carrows oh Carrows. Your french dip sammich disappointed me last time I was there. The meat tasted rubbery and factory produced. Blahh!

The prime rib is excellent. However, I have ordered the shrimp and I always ask for it to be grilled or steamed and it’s never consistent. Good, but sometimes they add a really good sauce on top (not sure what it is exactly), other times they don’t. I absolutely love their breakfast too.
The service is usually okay, though I have gotten absolutely terrible service before. One time our server transferred us to another server because it was time for her to get off. Not a big deal but, our new server never showed. So we sat there for our whole meal with no refills or ever getting the check. To me if no one brings me a check, it should be free.
If you want GREAT service, especially when they are busy. Sit with Susan. She’s the best gal they’ve got. Super friendly, and will acknowledge you right away no matter how busy she is. I always have the best experience eating there with her. She’ll chat up a storm and you’ll leave feeling pretty good.

i’ve been going here since i was a kid and the service has never changed and neither has the food. it was wonderful then and it’s the same now!
even better, the coffee is DELICIOUS! and they have flavored creamers :)
