Gemstones we use and repair settings for are diamonds, tourmalines, emeralds, sapphires and many other precious gemstones.

Established in 1991.

In 1991, Caro Z. opened his first jewelry store in Huntington Beach at the Huntington Center. Engagement Rings have never been the same since with many happy couples adorning their fingers with diamonds, master crafted from his Huntington Beach jewelry store.

Caro is a success story by any measure. In the era of internet jewelry sales, big retail stores, and impersonal service, he has taken a different path. He has lived by the philosophy «Treat every customer like family and every customer should be a customer for life.» This treatment of his customers has carried him far since he arrived in this country at the age of 19 and began working as a goldsmith apprentice for a jeweler in Los Angeles. In 1989, he opened his first jewelry store in Huntington Beach at the Huntington Center. Engagement Rings have never been the same since with many happy couples adorning their fingers with diamonds, master crafted from his Huntington Beach jewelry store.

This is the best!!! And I mean the best place to get your fine diamonds from… Beening buying all my gold and diamonds from here for hmmm… About 20 yrs now… I’ve followed him from his previous locations only because I’d b crazy not to… His taste and quality of jewelry… Is exquisite!!! My fiancé and I were looking for a very special custom made ring out of rose gold. We had found three other rings that we liked at other places but none of them had all of the qualities that we wanted in one ring. We met up with Caro and discussed this. He drew something up for us on the CAD design and two weeks later we had the ring of our dreams for a very fair price!
I will 100% go back here for all my needs and recommend him to all my friends.

I would not go here to sell your diamonds or jewelry. I was really low-​balled and took way to little for 1.75 marquee diamond stone with .75 baguette diamonds on the side on an 18K gold setting. And I gave them a small 14K gold wedding band with diamond chips in it. I don’t think they gave me anything for that. They first offered me $ 500 for both! Then within 5 minutes the guy went up to $ 2,000. Later I found out I could have easily gotten double that. I needed the money and didn’t have time to drive around. It was a mistake. I believe I was taken advantage of. But it’s too late to do anything now, except warn others. Go elsewhere to sell your diamonds and jewelry. This place will take advantage of you.

We have gone to C & R Jewelers for our jewelry needs for over 10 years — our first time in the shop was to repair a prong on my wedding ring. They have always been willing to clean my rings for free, and have unique and interesting displays in the cases. Last year, my husband commissioned the owner to re-​make an anniversary band in honor of our 25th anniversary. The results were stunning. I never guessed we would become «designers,» but the staff is so skilled at listening and making ideas a reality — from initial sketch to a built design. I highly recommend this shop for its fair pricing and practices, warm, skillful and talented staff. Whether you want simple gold hoop earrings, or a one-​of-​a-​kind statement piece, C&R is a wonderful shop I highly recommend.

Caro custom made my wedding band to match my engagement ring. We didn’t give him much time but he was able to get the ring done. The band matches my engagement ring perfectly. Caro even hand carved it so that they fit together seamlessly. It’s exactly what I wanted and he charged us much less than the other jeweler we talked to. You can’t beat excellent service and great prices! I hope my husband visits him often in the future.

A friend I’ve known for years and who knew of Caro and his fine talent in designing the best diamond rings, took me to see what could be done with «modernizing» my Grandmother’s mine-​cut diamond with its old Victorian setting.
Caro was fun to work with and I found what I thought I wanted in a design to give Caro an idea. He tweaked the design here and there, had me back for a few updates on his design and then when I went in for the final purchase… well, let me say… the ring just knocked my eyes out it was so gorgeous! I can’t stop looking at it on my finger.
Caro is just a dear of a person, honest, forthright and a true gentleman. His prices are not to be compared (I did and I didn’t even come close to the value I got from Caro!).

Caro sold my fiancé an amazing diamond for my engagement ring. He then helped him design the ring to his liking, which came out wonderfully. The ring is GORGEOUS.
He did a Tiffany & Co. setting with a 2.5 carat center stone. My best friend’s husband also had her 2+carat ring created by Caro, so I know that his customers are loyal and always impressed.
When I had the ring sized, I dropped off 12 pieces of jewelry to be cleaned, which they did a wonderful job on and gave me a fair price.
Caro made the process of buying an engagement ring pleasant, and even fun, for my fiancé and I could not be happier.

I was a first time diamond ring buyer, and did all the research around, out of town and internet reviews. I came across C&R Diamonds and was happy with my experience enough were I felt they deserved a great review, Let it be known that I usually don’t take the time to do this. My experience was very special. It was like I was family. Caro is the man! He really cares about you getting the RIGHT ring and the RIGHT size at the RIGHT price. Some sellers fake it although this man is truly genuine. Even after the purchase we are welcome back any time for any questions and concerns which we took them up on. All of my stress and fears are «on the back burner». Go see Caro! If he doesn’t have it he will make it. Bring your own designs to show him. Amazing staff. Great selection of beautiful jewelry and watches… The lady and gentleman that helped me were great. I got my car key battery replaced while browsing their great selection. Once my battery was replaced, I was approached with a smile and informed that there would be no charge today!

Caro is fantastic! I have worked with him several times for custom jewelry work. I asked him to make a custom engagement ring for my wife two years ago. I had a good idea in mind of what I wanted, and he did an incredible job of bringing that visualization to life.
For our wedding, I asked him to make a custom ring for me with a specific finish and brush stroke. Once again, Caro exceeded my expectations and made a priceless work of art.
I would not go to anyone else in Orange County for jewelry. Caro’s work is amazing and he truly cares about his clients. Caro and I have talked many times about our families and current life events. Caro is authentic in his relationships with his customers and his work is the finest in OC.

My 1st interaction with Caro —
I had a very rare and sentimental class ring that needed to be re-​sized. We discussed options and that the best option would wipe out part of the inside engraving. Caro personally took it to a specialized engraving shop (EDM) to supervise the re-​engraving after he had re-​sized it.
2nd —
Took my fiancée’s wedding set purchased elsewhere for re-​sizing and Caro was very thorough and discussed options since she had small (VERY — 4.5) fingers and discussed his concern about the prongs opening up and other ways to avoid that so the center stone didn’t loosen up. He even did the work in front of her because she didn’t want to lose sight of it!
Since then we have purchased daimond ear rings, my wedding band, and even won a nice brooch in a charity raffle his store held last year.
