Big 5 Sporting Goods

There’s a manager over here at big 5 (blonde, today blue shirt). Really really doesn’t want to be there and makes sure the customers know about it. Asked if they had any more variety of a product to which she replied rudely «nope»? Then the other manager says
Oh right there we have more. So the one says «you said only Nike»
Not wanting to argue just didn’t reply to that comment what was asked was «do you have any more of these packs»?
Corporate offices will be contacted on Monday and her behavior and attitude will be reported as far as possible. If management doesn’t want to be there then don’t take the job and don’t give attitude to customers.

My father & I went shopping for shoes. We tried on about 10 pairs! The sales clerk named Caleb was very helpful and happy to help us find the right shoes! The prices are low and they have a great selection. I highly recommend Big 5 and this store!

Good supplies, rude workers. My boyfriend and I came in to look at a bi pod for our ruger ¹⁰⁄₂₂ rifles and the lady at the counter had the nerve to say «you need a bi pod for 22?» Who says that to a customer? That was extremely rude don’t forget about customer service. Why not a bi pod? Not returning to this Big 5.

I blought a watch a month ago and the watchband broke, they wouldnt replace the watch and told me to call manufacturer

Took a while to flag down a store rep, but once i got one, she was extremely helpful. Big 5 is always good for a deal or two

The staff working the registers at 8:45pm tonight were beyond rude. When racing not strolling into the store we were not greeted with a hello, rather than a «you have fifteen minutes…» I went to the back and decided yeah no. NO WAY was I spending money in an establishment that was rushing me to get out rather than spend money, especially since I knew exactly what I wanted and would have been out in three minutes anyhow…
Sorry girls you blew an extra $ 200 on your night end sales… Never again will I go to this big 5

I’ve got to stop kidding myself about this… joint. The service is poor and I can never find the item that looked so enticing in the advertisement.

Son needed some tennis shoes and I didn’t want to battle any of the mall parking lots. So, off we went to Big 5 Sporting Goods. We get there and the parking lot is FULL because Five Guys Burgers & Fries is located in the same strip mall. We had to circle the lot a couple of times before finding a space. Be careful in the parking lot because there are a lot of inpatient teens who are in a hurry to eat at the new burger joint.
I only go to Big 5 for my son’s tennis shoes. They usually have sales on New Balance, Nike, and other brands. If you want a good deal on tennis shoes, go to Big 5. If you’re looking for great customer service, ambiance and couldn’t care less about prices, go to Sports Chalet.
The people working at Big 5 are not enthusiastic about their jobs. I’m fine with the mediocre service as long as they get my son’s shoes and are not purposely rude. I got a good deal on a pair of Asics Gel tennis shoes, regularly $ 64.99 and on sale for $ 39.99. We headed to the checkout and there was no line, sweet. 3 Stars

Staff was unfriendly and obviously hated working there. Store was dusty and run down. Customers were rude and mean. As I was leaving the store, this 450 lb lady was entering the store, and she stood there and blocked my way w/​her arm and won’t let me thru. She glared at me and insist on me getting out of her way so she can enter the door first. wtf? Didn’t want her to sumo jump me, so I moved. Guess what? this woman got stuck in the doorway, and had to wiggle her big bottom thru the door. KARMA!
