Barrett’s Lemonade

These guys and girls are busting their booties at all festivals and shows, BEST lemonade/​strawberry lemonade ever. At shows of course drinks and food are a lil pricey but these guys always worth it…
They have food stands attached and BEST ever yummy…

one word… AMAZING!
I tried their lemonades at Kroq’s Weenie Roast.
I paid $ 1 extra for the strawberry (real) lemonade. Delicious. Worth every cent.

It’s possible, Cory, that in their contract they weren’t allowed to sell water. That’s how it works with those festivals — you are only allowed to sell what you are signed up for — otherwise you are shorting the other vendors. Lighten up, man.

Had Barrett’s lemonade for the first time at the 2010 Lobster Fest in San Pedro and I have to say that it is the BEST lemonade that i’ve ever had. My BF totally agrees that it was delicious and we wish there was one closer to where we live. The guys were super friendly and had awesome customer service! Even though they are Tampa Bay fans we liked them ;)

$ 5 for a large strawberry lemonade at the 2009 Port of L.A. Lobsterfest. They are way over priced for a product with lack luster quality.
Quite frankly, the sugar didn’t dissolve and the strawberries were barely recognizable as strawberries or even strawberry purée. If there is a Hot Dog on a Stick nearby, save your money and go there for good old fashioned lemonade.
The biggest damper was the awful, horribly cranky attitudes of the two women (one in her 40’s the other early 20’s) behind the table. It may have been a long weekend at a crowded festival, but that’s no reason to have a bad attitude and be rude to PAYING customers. They were equally rude to the gentlemen in front of me as they were to the rest of us. I watched them give horrible attitude to one customer after the next.
They even refused to sell me water after I offered to buy the water for the $ 3 small lemonade sales price. My little boy was dying of heat & thirst. I asked them to please sell me a cup of ice water & the young girl snapped at me, «NO. Go to the stand that sells water.» That line was incredibly long, as I pointed out, and then asked for a small lemonade, but hold the sugar, and lemon and just give my son a $ 3 cup of water and the older woman snapped, «WE’RE NOT SELLING WATER,» as my disappointed son and I watched them dispense clear, cool, ice water into cups filled with sugar & lemons.
Honestly, is it that much to SKIP pouring the sugar into the cup before filling it with H2O? Especially for a little boy who is standing in front of you heartless women, dying of thirst? Thanks for perpetuating the stereotype of people from So. Cal as being uncaring and self-​absorbed.
You can be as «green» as you want — that won’t bring you back customers if your attitude isn’t geared for pleasant customer service. Or perhaps that’s why you have to point out how *green* you are, because you don’t have a lot of redeeming qualities like a good product or «service with a smile.»
