1^st Class Bail Bonds, Inc. is owned by Bonnie Merrick (formerly known as Bonnie Plotkin). At the age of 19, she was unexpectedly hired to work in a bail bonds office after she was told the babysitting job she had just applied for had been filled.

Business Owner

Bonnie Merrick has been a licensed California bail agent since 1985. She belongs to the Orange County Bail Agent’s Association, the California Bail Agent’s Association and the Professional Bail Agents of the United States. This enables her to stay current on bail laws affecting her clients and her business.

A southern California native, she has called Orange County her home for 30 years. Bonnie is very happily married and together with her husband, they have 4 adult children.
