The Candy Cottage Company

So sad… stopped by there today and they’re gone! Closed. OB. My family from out-​of-​state referred to their candy covered pretzels as «crack,» when they first came to visit (years ago) so I always send them some in their holiday box. Now to figure out how to break the news…:-(

Sadly, Unilocal did not lead me here; internet research did. Candy Cottage manufactures an amazing range of chocolate-​covered pretzels at this location, and it is primarily a wholesaler with a smallish retail (charmingly retro) sales area in the front. Among other things, Candy Cotyagr offers private label boxed chocolate-​covered pretzels to the likes of Neiman Marcus and supplies other storefronts, like Ben and Irv’s with bulk pretzels.
The sales staff was terrific, carefully selecting the desired pretzels, honorably boxing them for transit, and charging a very fair price. The pretzels are enrobed in a very good quality chocolate and then dipped in a seemingly endless variety of toppings, including mini-M&Ms, mini-​chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles, cookie shards and other deliciousness. The recipients were thrilled with the gift, which they described as the best chocolates they had ever had.
