History

Established in 2015.

Brought to Charlotte, NC in 2011 by franchise partner Tara Fitzgerald, she is excited to now have an additional studio open in Huntersville as well. Originally started by Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney in Mandeville, Louisiana. The concept pairs instructional art with friends, wine and a lively instructor to produce individual works of art. Headquartered in Mandeville, Louisiana the company maintains the artwork copyrights and brand direction of the franchise locations to insure that every location produces the same fun experience by which the company was founded.

Meet the Business Owner

Tara F.

Business Owner

The proud owner of Charlotte and Huntersville locations, she is the fearless leader of this crew. Growing up in New Orleans, LA, Tara learned from a very young age how to entertain andy how to «laissez les bon temps rouler». After Hurricane Katrina, Tara and her handsome husband, Josh, relocated their family to Charlotte on a whim. They have loved the Queen City ever since. After seeing her friends «back home» participating in PWAT sessions, Tara started on this journey into the painting world.

Tara is self-trained artist and has a master’s degree in Physical Therapy with a speciality in brain injury and stroke. Though two distinct skill sets, she loves that she is able to use both sides of her brain in such different ways. When she’s not in the studio, she enjoys outdoor activities, binge watching her favorite tv shows and hanging out with her family, especially her 2 sons, Jacob and Luke. You can often find her dancing, quick with a hug, and she loves to meet new people!
