O’reilly Auto Parts

Special ordered shocks for my vehicle and per the standard procedure, I gave my name and phone number to be alerted when the parts arrived. Just FYI on special orders you have to pay when placing the order. Six days later I called to check on the order and was asked to hold while they checked in the back for the parts. Parts were actually in and I was happy, but have wondered if they would have ever called me to let me know my parts had arrived (reminder: I paid six days earlier). I try to buy from local parts stores instead of large-​scale online retailers, but failure to follow through in examples like this make me wonder why. During my inquiry call everyone was very nice, which upgraded this review from 3 to 4 stars.
