I have tried over the past TWO WEEKS to schedule an appointment with this guy. Left numerous voicemails and he has not gotten back to me. What a terrible costumer service! Safe to say he is uninterested in new costumers. Do not recommend this service!

Hair by Dax is your New York City salon in Huntersville! Dax knows his craft. He is the first person to actually look at my natural hair growth patterns and make recommendations based on how my hair grows. He makes cutting hair an art. Dax provided a great hair cut, great conversation and a great price. What more could you ask for?

Where do I begin? Between the laughs, the great music, great hair, and understanding you couldn’t find a better person to see for your hair. He listens and gives an honest opinion, discusses upkeep, explains the products being used, and makes you feel super gorgeous when you leave. He’s extremely knowledgable about everything he does and his precision is perfect. I had been going to a place that kept leaving me with random hairs hanging longer than others or off balance with weird bangs and weird layers. I thought there was nothing I could do but man did Dax do some work and made a helluva difference! He took my dull, flat, bleached, washed out blond strands to a very sassy, manageable, and fuller look. Perfect, just perfect!

I’ve been seeing Dax for over a year and I couldn’t be happier. He takes the time to listen to what I want and gives me a cut that works best for my hair. I’ve had bangs off and on my entire life and he is the first person to actually teach me how to properly dry them so that I longer have a bad hair day.
It is so rare to find a stylist that actually cares about their clients. He takes such pride in his work and it shows!

Dax is a great hair stylist. I was a client at his previous salon and am so glad he opened his own shop.
He really takes the time to understand your hair and your habits before he cuts. He doesn’t stick you with a cut you can’t maintain or that grows out funny. My last cut was still great after 3 months! With my old stylist had to return every 6 weeks because the layers grew out in odd shapes.
Dax isn’t a cookie cutter stylist. He got great training and experience in New York City and it shows in his technique.
Doesn’t hurt that he is fun to talk to, either.
Wouldn’t hesitate to send a friend to his shop.
