Specialties
This camp has RV pull thru sites with 20 – 50 Amp service. You can reserve either full service or water/electric sites. Cabins are either sleeping cabins (bring your own bedding) or one cabin with linens. Laundry is on site. Flathead River property adjacent to the campground is great fishing in the summer! This business is close to eateries, Hungry Horse Dam, hiking, biking, rafting, gift stores and the local full-service grocery store.
The largest city in the Flathead Valley is 25 miles away with all the box stores and shopping opportunities. Kalispell is just north of Flathead Lake, the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi River.
Whitefish, a resort community, is 17 miles away and boasts a ski hill in the winter and Whitefish Lake recreation and gondola rides at Whitefish Mountain in the summer.
Campground guests are close to everything the area has to offer, especially Glacier National Park with all its beauty… a recommended base camp for the visitors to the area.
History
Established in 1993.
The campground was a heavily wooded thicket of trees and brush next to the Flathead River. The owners retained as many natural features as possible while building the facility. It now attracts dozens of different bird species during the summer.
