Ok pizza, a little greasy though. My wife got a batch of wings that were extra bony, maybe roadkill wings. That may be the last time we get wings from there. They were inedible.

I love this place and eat here at least once a month! It’s exactly what one would expect from a local, family owned pizza place. The pizza is well made with quality ingredients. Their beer selection is extensive. The service is friendly. They will make you whatever you want(on your pizza).

I went up to Hershey Park for the weekend with my wife and 4 kids(ages 6 – 9), and this past Saturday night went to JoJo’s for a good family dinner. Having never been there, Jo Jo’s certainly looks like a Hummelstown ‘institution’ — well established, right in the heart of town, large multi-floor restaurant. If you like Italian and good hearty style food, this place hits the mark. The wings were tremendous, fries delicious, pizza was great, and they have alcohol for the parents/adults. Dining room was comfortable with Italian, ‘pub style’ ambiance that I enjoy. Everyone left highly satisfied with our meal, and would certainly come back again.

My fav pizza joint in the area by far, Take it from a local. I no longer live on the east coast and miss New York style pizza, and this satisfies my cravings every time. The pizzas are great, I stick with the classic cheese. The bread and dough here are what makes it so great. Italian subs are my go to when ordering and the garlic knots are awesome. The antipasto salad is delish AND they give you a roll of the awesome Italian bread they use for the subs. The guys who work there have always been on the creepy side and ogle any woman who walks in the joint. But the food I mentioned really is awesome.

Place has great food, but most of the people there treat you like they don’t give a shit. I live right around the corner from the shop and I’d eat there more if they didn’t act like they don’t appreciate their customers. Ordering in or over the phone, must of the kids working there are rude to you. They act like taking your oder is interrupting them half the time. I wish they’d go back to flirting with each other after I got my sandwich. Tonight II called 25 minutes before closing tonight to ask for 2 subs on carry out and the girl that answered tried to rush me off the phone and discourage me getting anything. They told me they were no longer making subs and I could choose from what they already had made. I’ll call Marinos

Went up to Hershey this past weekend to see Da Bears play the Albany River Rats in Game 1 of their Calder Cup Conference Finals. This was my 2nd time through H-town and since we had a couple of hours before the game, I made the executive decision to get some real din din instead of shitty arena food(not that the food at the Giant Center is shitty — far from it — I just wanted a sit down experience in a real restaurant). The boyfriend is notoriously difficult when eating whilst on travels, so he said«Hey — pizza. Let’s go there.» Done. Jo Jo’s is right on the corner of the square smack dab in the middle of Hummelstown. It is a legit eating establishment, and it has outside tables should you want to dine al fresco. When you walk in, there is a chalkboard of specials on the wall to your left — both daily and weekend specials are listed. There is also a regular menu to order from should you not want the specials. Drinks are from either a fountain(50 cents for refills) or from the drink case. The BF got the meat extravaganza pizza(pepperoni, ham, sausage, hamburger meat, and bacon) and I ordered the baked ziti(which came with a dinner salad and bread). We also ordered some garlic knots to om nom nom on since we were way hungry. Once you order, you pay and you’re given a number so they can bring the food to your table in the dining room. The salad is brought to me in timely fashion and is rather large. I ordered the salad with the italian dressing, which was housemade. That salad was most likely the BEST salad I have ever eaten in my entire life(that was not an entrée salad). The dressing was light and savory, the perfect blend of oils and spices. There were these pickled green peppers on top of it that were so delicious — and I freaking HATE green peppers. The garlic knots came with the salad order, and we ate them while watching Kung Fu Panda on their HD tv set conveniently located. Had they been hot, the garlic knots would’ve been really good. They were room temp and the sauce was cold, so they just rate a meh. The pizza came next. It was not quite thin crust, but not thick crust either. It was SO yummy. The BF had never had pizza like it before and he thought it was the second best pizza he had ever had. I sampled a bite, and the meats were outstanding. I liked how they were not served in large chunks, but were rather served in little slivers of tastiness. The crust was just right — not too crusty, not too chewy. By the time my ziti came, I wasn’t hungry anymore. I had a few bites and it was pretty good. I ended up taking most of it home and will be eating it for lunch this week. All in all, I can’t get over that salad. I would willingly drive two hours just so I can eat this salad again and again. Overall, a solid 4 stars out of 5. The server girls are really nice and attentive, but the manager on duty and the owners weren’t the nicest people and really talked down to them. I am going to write and see if I can get that recipe for their dressing and their pickled peppers. If they give it to me, they’ll get 5 stars.
