Cajun Cookers Bbq

On the road with my boyfriend who is a trucker, we were passing through Tennessee and had a hankering for BBQ. I came across this little joint through Unilocal looking for the closest place from our delivery location. Wow! What a find this was. There was parkjng for the semi on the front of the street and we up to the window to order our food. We got BBQ beef with two sides, beans and slaw. It included the buns to make sandwiches and hot or regular BBQ sauce. We got one of each and glad we did. The meat was tender and juicy. The beef and beans were out of this world as was the slaw. We had more than enough food for both of us for two meals. The price was right too, all of this for $ 26.00 including tax. If we are back this way again, we will make this a new BBQ pitstop.

After living in TN for 14 years and being treated to all kinds of comfort food, this guy’s place is the best. Food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is fantastic especially on Sunday afternoons, and the owner is the friendliest person I’ve ever met.

Hurtful Service
Were not use to buffet dinners and when we visited with guest to hear gospel singing we were told no tables available. Upon entering room there two tables open. We asked waiter and was told to sit at any table. During blessing our meal a very rude hostest, older woman interrupted our prayer and told us to move to another room. We looked at a empty table and asked in shock if we could sit there. It was clear the older woman was mad at us and did not care to help move all the glasses & stuff (were older people too). 1. Service is hurtful there. 2. They do not refill your drinks. 3. For $ 15 a plate the food is not up to par and not good enough for seconds. I tried to talk to the owner but she would not let me get a word in. So here’s my message «if you have to move a customer, have a happy solution ready before asking them to move. Apologize, emphasize and help them move and in the name of the Lord respect prayer and your customer by being nice». One unhappy customer can tell 250 others.
