I came for a business lunch and that’s about the only way you could drag me here. For me, it’s just another one of the many chain italian restaurants that just doesn’t have the quality I look for when eating out. The 1st problem came when one of my colleagues unrolled her napkin and found a fork with a crust of food still on it. After everyone else checked their silverware and then we all calmed down a bit. As a starter, they bring you two loaves of bread and a plate with herbs, with the olive oil blend(not pure olive oil) on the table, you can add it to the herbs and dip your bread in it. This would have been decent, except for one problem… the herbs on the plate were extremely SALTY for some reason. After perusing the lunch menu where 99% of the entrees are between $ 9 and $ 10, I settled on the spicy chicken alfredo, because as described, it contained a lot of ingredients and looked to be very flavorful. This dish was neither spicy nor flavorful and looked like a sticky mess when it was delivered to the table. I didn’t care for the colored tortilla strips that top this dish. In fact, I only really liked the 4 or 5 slices of grilled chicken and thought the rest of the dish was actually pretty bland. Our waiter was not exactly on top of his game either and waited until the end of our meal to refill everyone’s drinks and took an unusually long time to bring the check after asking for it. I have no intention of ever coming back to Zio’s, even if it is for a free meal.

I came here for lunch with a couple of business associates. I was reluctant at first due to the average rating, but I really had a good lunch experience today. We had a very attentive waitress who kept the bread coming and ice tea glasses full. The bread was fresh and came with and olive oil dipping blend, was quite delicious. Two of us ordered the lunch size lasagna, which I found to be a very generous portion for $ 8.99. It certainly was enough to fill me up along with the included salad or a cup of soup. I had the Caesar salad which had a great tasting dressing on a bed of green romaine. I certainly noticed because they did not have the«bag» taste that I customarily see in chain restaurants. The lasagna was a couple of inches thick and at least 4×4 in dimension. The sauce was tasty and the dish had a proper balance of noodle, sauce and cheese. The guest that recommended the place had the chicken parmesan($ 9.49), which also looked like a generous and meaty portion with a side of pasta on the plate. Although I had low expectations from this restaurant, I really think that for a chain restaurant it certainly is very competitive to other chain Italian eateries. Without knowing how the dinner service goes, I certainly would recommend this place as a good value for eating lunch.

I can’t believe I had to give even one star to open this review. This has to be the worst dining experience of my entire life. When we receive our rolled silverware I opened the napkin and found crusted food stuck to both sides of the napkin. Not a little food, it actually looks like someone vomited into the napkin and then it was reused. Completely gross. I would not recommend that anyone eat here. The manager Jasmine was completely unsympathetic. Listened to my story then rolled her eyes and walked away.

This place is bad. The entire restaurant didn’t appear to have anyone that could vote working. The service was bad, my waitress sassy and presumptive of everything. Hell, i asked my wife«do you want to try the calamari?» and the broad said«i’ll get that right in» and damn near ran away to the kitchen. I never actually ordered the gawd damn squid. The food was terrible. That calamari I ordered, was bland and over cooked. It was also served with the saddest looking marinara sauce on the face of the earth. My entrée of chicken Alfredo tortellini was horrendous. The tortellini was obviously frozen and went from freezer straight to pot. And for some reason I was served a bed of fettuccine pasta along with the tortellini. The Alfredo sauce was cheap and saccharine. The chicken, was the absolute worst. As it was extremely overcooked and dry. It was almost unpalatable as I had to munch through the taste of charcoal. My wife’s dish of shrimp pasta was just as terrible. Over cooked with a cup full of sugar in the white sauce. The bread can compete with all of garden as being some of this nations worse in the all of oil that they serve to accompany the bread isn’t 100% olive oil. They cut it with canola. Serves me right for trying to save a few bucks, please for humanities sake, let this place go out of business.

Don’t waste your time or money here! The food is very bland and the service is very slow. They never seem to have bread even though they are never busy. I don’t think the place is very clean either and definitely don’t use the restrooms! If you want the best Italian food and don’t mind the wait go to Italiano’s. I hope this Zio’s closes and a better restaurant takes over.

I haven’t been here in awhile. They use to have really bad service. I wanted Italian so I thought I’d give them a try. We ordered the mushrooms for an appetizer. They were good not smothered in cheese which was a nice change. We also had Italian nachos. Very good I highly recommend this dish. We got vodka chicken. Is was ok the chicken taste burnt so I just took it off and ate the pasta. I think it had too many olives on it. I also don’t remember the menu stated it had olives but I could be wrong. It was also very little other ingredients in the dish. It was basically pasta & olives. The service was excellent but it was lunch time with only 4 tables sat. Makes me wonder.

DIRTY inside and out, tasteless, dried out chicken, just bad bad bad. Gave it one more try — kept telling myself it wasn’t that bad. Well, it is and we won’t be back. The outside is filled with trash and the landscaping is unkempt. Walk inside — everything is grimy and there are used napkins and wads of paper on the floor. The pillar next to our table had a giant spit-wad on it AND the counter(that separates the sections) had what appeared to be a nice long booger. If it wasn’t a booger, it was something else grody and slimy that had been there for a long time. We went on a Friday night about 7:00 and it was ½ full. It SHOULD be packed. Disappointing. I’m reallllllly mad we spent money on this place and came home unhappy. :(

What a huge disappointment. Service was as slow as it gets. Funny part is, the place was practically empty. I felt like I was in some diner in the middle of Death Valley on a 104 degree Tuesday. Food was tasteless. Noodles with no flavor? Mmmmm… yes please! And let me pay $ 15 for them. Booooo! Hissss! Oh well, at least nobody broke into my truck while I was eating glorified cat food. JK! They did! Someone broke into my truck while I was eating coyote scat in a white bowl. If they knew what I was eating, they would have left me alone.

Dining at Zio’s was a terrible experience, and I recommend avoiding this location at all costs. Our group arrived and noticed that the restaurant had many servers and very few customers. One would think that many waiters on staff would lead to top notch service– you would be wrong to think that way. Being seated quickly is always a bonus, but we then waited 15 minutes until a server arrived(several came to the table and asked us if we had been helped, but no one brought water or silverware). We ordered our drinks, and the drink order was incorrect. The bread which arrived at the table was warm and tasty, but we spent much of the time craning our necks to see where our order might be or when we might next expect to see a member of the waitstaff able to help us. One member of our party did not receive his meal, and, overall, our group experienced appallingly bad service with mediocre food. The star of my salad was brown lettuce and other members of the table commented on flavorless food and lukewarm pasta. I am so disappointed in the service we received from Zio’s and highly encourage diners to dine elsewhere.

My wife and I ate at Zio’s last weekend with her parents. Everything was horrible. We ordered drinks but didn’t get them for twenty minutes because the«bartender was backed up». My beer was flat. My wife and her parents ordered wine. My wife was given a bigger glass which held more wine. They gave my in laws smaller glasses with a fraction of the wine yet charged for a normal glass. My father in law ordered a soup as a starter but he never received it. The food took forever to come out but we were told it was because a larger table put in their order right before us. Basically, to our waiter, it was always someone else’s fault. The chicken in my meal(Chicken and Cheese Tortellini Alfredo) wasn’t fully cooked but due to the lackluster service we had received and the atrocious waits it took to get everything, I just scraped it off to the side and didn’t send it back. They also sat a party of twenty right behind us. Now normally, I wouldn’t complain about this but apparently this table was a surprise birthday party for one of the ladies. EVERYONE at that table kept getting up and hugging her and talking to her and she was seated right across from me. Basically, all of these peoples rear ends who were getting up to speak to her, were inches from my face. The manager and our waiter were constantly talking and laughing. Our waiter was a very polite and nice guy but it took him forever to do everything. He was also training a girl that looked like she just got hit by a bus. The woman never smiled or spoke to us. Horrible experience. We will not be back.

Good server… the food, in my opinion just didn’t taste fresh. The chicken tasted like rubber(like out of a precooked bag), the bread pudding dessert had been sitting for so long on the counter that most of the ice cream had melted before I got it. You can’t feel the passion from the chefs/management to put out a quality product with a good presentation. Sadly I won’t be back.

If I will come back here, it will be for their Italian margaritas, that was so good. The cheesecake desert was yummy too. Their happy hour, makes the drinks taste better(something that good for that price is unbeatable.

Went with friends after Church for lunch, my wifes chicken on her chicken salad was not cooked fully. She returned it for another salad and the chicken was still not cooked fully and had the texture of a frozen peice of chicken that was heated up in the microwave. I couldnt help but notice the peeling and hanging paint from the air registers above our table and then on our way out I stopped by the restroom and that did it for me. The sinks were dirty, toilets were dirty, there was toilet paper all over the floor and had a repulsive smell. Needless to say we wont be going back nor will we suggest this place to anyone.

Very poor planning for a date that comes around every year. Not enough staff, bartender does not know how to make a «fully dressed» beer when it is a draft. No silverware when dinner brought, beer served warm. Not a happy camper here.

We used to eat here and it was pretty good. Have not been there in awhile. Went there last night and the quality was just not there. I ordered the House Italian Chicken salad. The lettuce was just bag ice burg lettuce dumped on the plate with large pieces. Was supposed to have artichoke hearts on the salad. It had 1 very small piece. The Parmesan chicken on top was good.

So I decided to check into zios and try for the first time since passing the restaurant thousands of times. It seems as if no one is at zios the parking lot seems to always be empty, I go in and was very quiet didn’t seem very busy at all took about a couple of minutes to get seated and our waitress was Sam she was very friendly and very attentive. So while seating I was looking around seems as if this place as not been updated in years as far as décor furniture can use some updating and the table top covers can definitely go in the Trash the end points of the table was rip and there plastic table covers. Over time things tend to wear out. This place needs some tlc. Also did I mention a small stench? I was smelling something that didn’t smell clean. Now the food surprisingly was very good and nice sized portions for the price. We ordered for a starter spinach dip w/warm pita bread very good choice, I ordered the artichoke & spinach pasta not bad at all pasta was cooked perfectly. My gal ordered the chicken Parmesan the chicken was over a bed of spaghetti, chicken parm was awesome. The complementary hot bread w/herbs & olive oil that zios gives was like whao! Being that the food is good and that there isn’t many Italian restaurants around why would the parking lot be empty? Well you just have to find out for yourself I will probably be back but not anytime soon. My experience overall 3 stars

I was less than impressed with both the service and food. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish which left alot to be desired. Although, the dish was large it lacked flavor. The Bellini was just okay. I don’t see a need to return to this low-budget Italian spot.

Met some friends there for dinner. Service was very good. I ordered a glass of wine(not their house wine) and it was spoiled. When I sent it back, the bartender actually came to the table and opened a new bottle and poured me a glass. Very impressive! So why the three stars? Food is mediocre at best. If you don’t like Olive Garden, you won’t like this place. I had eggplant parmigiana, and the pasta was tasteless and limp. I asked for more marinara sauce and was charged $ 1 for about an 1⁄8th of a cup. The waitress didn’t tell me there would be an additional charge. Won’t be going back.

Pre-prepared food is not my thing. The bread was very good, wine selection marginal, entrees boring and lacking. Service was good and prompt. I read long ago to be leery of plastic covered menus and that advice has seldom let me down.

Zio’s is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I love the free bread and butter they serve. I always order the same dinner, the Spicy Chicken Alfredo and it has slightly crunchy tortilla strips in it which, to me, adds more depth to the meal. The portions are huge and I always have leftovers. I’ve had the Bread Pudding to go, because I’m always too full to eat it there. You have to microwave it when you’re ready to eat it. It’s my favorite! I’ve never had better bread pudding. They use french bread and the sides are slightly charred giving it a really smokey flavor. The topping they give adds just the perfect amount of gooeyness to the dessert. If this place was closer to home, it would be really bad news for my waistline. I’ve had the bellinis, too, and they’re pretty tasty. I can’t say anything outstanding about this location other than they always get my order right and the food is always consistently good. I’ve eaten in and taken it to go and even had the catered service. The service is not super fast, but I don’t need it to be when I have the delicious bread to work on.
