Dr. Tal Raphaeli is a board certified Colon and Rectal surgeon in North Houston. He is also board certified in General Surgery. Dr. Raphaeli graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his General Surgery training at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He received his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at The Swedish Medical Center — Swedish Colon and Rectal Clinic in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Raphaeli has presented at numerous regional and national conferences and is a published author.
Dr. Raphaeli’s primary concern is the health and wellbeing of his patients. He utilizes minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for cancer as well as for benign diseases such as diverticulitis and inflammatory bowel disease to decrease pain and shorten hospital stays. He also specializes in endoscopy, the treatment of common anorectal disorders, such as hemorrhoids and fissures, and pelvic floor disorders.
