Wow. Our son’s party was awesome. The Max Bowl is a great facility. But it’s best asset is the people working there. They were incredibly thoughtful and caring. They also seemed to work as a team. From the moment we walked in, they took care of everything. We had a crazy group but they were unfazed and seemed only interested in making sure we had fun. We were super impressed and can’t thank you enough.

Would love to be able to comment on their actual service but we never made it to a lane. Called at 10:55 on Saturday and were told that there are 5 open lanes and they don’t do reservations, got there at 11:05 and were told, very rudely, that they had been on a wait since 6:30 and that we would have to wait at least 2 hours to get on a lane. Maybe they should attempt to communicate with one another before making people waste their time driving down there.

HA. They got rid of their Sunday Funday deal which was the only reason to ever come here. Everything is over priced and employees could care less about you. All in all, the only reason to come here (Sunday Funday) is gone.

Have not been there since they remodeled. Last week of summer vacation for the kids so I took my week vacation from work to do some activities with them before summer was over. They wanted to do the skywalk. Went to the website shows their hours of operation open at 10 o’clock. Nothing on their main page or the skywalk page says anything different about an opening time for this feature. So knowing that we had plans for this afternoon, I woke them up extra early which they were not happy about but wanted to be there at 10 o’clock on the dot. Imagine our surprise when we walk in and skywalk does not open in till noon. Needless to say we cannot wait around for two hours after driving there and they wasted an entire morning of their last week of vacation for nothing. Thanks Max bowl.

The best time ever!!! We decided to have a «Girl Night Out» wearing colored wigs on a Thursday night. Beer was cold, wings were delish (nice crunchy) overall food was on point (pizza, wings and beer). I think we did more dancing than bowling, which just means music was awesome. Service was absolutely amazing, the staff was nice and very attentive. If you are looking for a great time this is a def a place to check out– can’t wait to come back

Went with a group for my wife’s birthday and waited two hours for two lanes and never got our name called. Guy at desk said there were four people ahead of me then called six more names. Huge disorganization with the way they allocate lanes for guests.

Since the reconstruction, it is a much better facility. There are 6 VIP lanes where you aren’t usually bothered by all the loud families with a zillion kids. The only downside is that they are almost always really busy, and they don’t take reservations anymore unless you physically go in 24 hours ahead of time and make them.

This place has been renovated and is great for kids and adults. In one side there is an arcade and a sky walk, and on the other side is a bar that also served a full menu of food and snacks. The bowling lanes are nice and the balls never get stuck. There are also a few «dinosaurs» or bowling helpers for the little kids. Be sure and get the neon orange balls if you have littles. My 2 and 4 year old had so much fun and enjoyed bowling one game. Summer bowling club for kids let them bowl 2 games for free. If you go on Tuesday you can rent shoes for $ 2!

$ 2 bowl + shoes on Tuesdays! So that’s great and the place is amazing as far as the interior etc. BUT, they could get people checked in for bowling a bit faster. AND there is no changing table in their restroom. As a mom of an infant I take off major points when places don’t accommodate for those needs. I mean this place is meant for adults AND kids AND families so why no changing table?

went with my wife and two friends two weeks ago. had a great time. recently redone, so a big step up from other bowling options, but not with the inflated price that typically accompanies redoes. Strange to read the older comments about uneven service. We were treated extremely well by everyone there.

The place is nice but the bartending services was horrible. we stood at the bar for 20 minutes and not one of them helped us or asked us if we been helped. I asked one of them if the bar was closed and she said no and pointed at another lady that she will help us. The lady turned around and went to the back (kitchen) and never came out. The bartenders were walking in and out and it looked like they were ignoring us. We got frustrated and decided to leave. We didn’t see no manager in sight to report the issue. First time there and definitely ain’t going back!

I had no idea we had a Max Bowl in Humble until we were invited for a birthday party. The location itself has been newly rennovated and is a kids paradise with laser tag, bowling, overhead zip lines and a fairly large arcade.
My friend who hosted the party said the party packages are affordable and include laser tag or bowling, pizzas, party tables, etc. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, although a bit disorganized. They did just re-​open to the public after their big renovation, so I’ll cut them some slack for that and see if they come together better given some time.
They have a full bar for us big kids to enjoy while the little guys are having fun. however, the bar staff was very disorganized and slow. Me and several others standing next to me waited for 1015 minutes waiting for service. I kept thinking they would get to us, but we finally just had to call out and ask to be next.
Overall though, it’s the perfect place to take the kids on a rainy or very hot, Houston day. We’ll be adding this to our list of place to frequent when summer vacation hits.

Thanks to a Unilocal offer for free shoes and a $ 40 for $ 20 offer this night could have been a disaster. This place is under construction and according to the reviews it has been for sometime. Perhaps, the owner may want to find another crew to complete the renovations. About half of the lanes where not working and there was a 2 hours wait for a lane. I will try this place again in a few months to see if anything changes. There is a lot to do here to entertain yourself but we wanted to bowl.

Where do I begin? It was a pleasure to personally meet the owner and we really enjoyed the bowling experience.
However, The five excuses we got for why our pizza was late was just horrible. And Donna {who was so nice when we paid for the bowling} behaved as though she was in a coma when we complained about our pizza being an hour late. The only other employee who acted like they had no living soul was the girl tending bar and taking food orders.
They don’t know the meaning of the word customer service.
I can only conclude that you are making money hand over fist, and you have known these drones for years, for them to be employed anwhere in customer service.
If you ever want to take your business to the next level, These ladies are the dead weight that you should dump.
You cannot fly like an eagle and soar high with turkeys.
The only Highlight was Jacob, he tried to help was a real bright spot among the walking dead service employees you employ.
hope you can take a little well meaning critizism. However, Probably wont order food again, unless we are playing 3 games, we might get it again.

This bowling alley is probably the best in the area especially with its updates. I have it 4 stars because of the service received. Staff is not always attentive to customers and they seem to be all the place nothing really in order. Otherwise great bowling alley, took my son and we had a great time, he didn’t want to leave.

Recently updated, looks very nice inside and out. Guessing they spent most of their money on the updates because they are severely under staffed. The employees who do work here have have poor customer service. The food is terrible and too overpriced for the quality of good you get. Ordered nachos and they came out ice cold. Ordered a kids hot dog and it came out burnt.

I’ll have to do an update later, since we came during a MASSIVE renovation. We were also there on an off hour on a Sunday. You know it’s massive when they have an enormous «We’re open» sign on the front and the usual entrance is boarded up. The second clue was that all of the bathrooms were located outside in a trailer or a handicapped accessible port-​a-​john.
Now, the trailer bathrooms were pretty good, all things considered. The side entrance was a little bit meh, but what are you going to do when you’re ripping up the insides of your building? They have plastic sheeting blocking the dust and view of the mess. The desk for shoe rental is still running and the concession is running as well. The people were nice, even though the conditions must not be great to work in.
The lanes are in OK condition. When bowling, you could still get the skid and spin on your balls. I didn’t notice any strange wobbles or deviations in path. The lane we were in had a couple of issues with setting up pins, but a hit of the reset button took care of it. The score keeping was easy to set up and took care of itself.
In terms of the concessions, we only had tea and popcorn, so I can’t say much. The tea was in a pitcher and good. The popcorn was stale and tasted like fake butter. I guess it’s what I would expect these days.
Overall, it’s a good place to go kill some time.
