Many are familiar with the idea of therapy or counseling. Like therapy, life coaching is motivation and change. But whereas therapy looks at healing, the past and treating mental disorder, life coaching is focused specifically on the future, about change and practical steps the coach can help the client take.

History

Established in 2015.

In 2015 Kathryn opened The Good Life — Life Coaching as a way to coach individuals through obtaining and developing their definition of excellence, reach goals and in return live more in line with their vision of The Good Life. The Good Life is a low cost resource for those looking for support and to make a change.

The vision of The Good Life — Life Coaching is that individuals who seek happiness and growth finding hope and success.

Meet the Business Owner

Kathyn C.

Business Owner

In 2008 Kathryn Casey graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in Psychology. She went on to earn an M.S. in Clinical Psychology at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences (IPS), a unique program that integrates philosophy, theology and psychology.

For four years Kathryn worked with the Center for Human Services, a local non-​profit organization serving youth and families, in the Student Assistance Program (SAP) helping high school students build life, social and coping skills. Kathryn became a Certified Life Coach, certified in Transformational Coaching and Solution-​Focused Coaching, in 2015 through the Universal Coach Institute.
