History
Established in 2004.
The Nanny Connection opened its doors in Hudson, Ohio in 2004 with the idea of finding qualified local nannies for local families. Since then the services have expanding to include an on-call babysitting service. Our goal is to provide a superior service for all your childcare needs. We are the largest nanny placement agency in Summit County, Ohio with have over 150 families actively employing our nannies and sitters in the greater Akron and Cleveland area. Inn 2010, we have opened branches in Pittsburgh and Columbus. We now have over 200 on call babysitters working through our agency. The Nanny Connection is a proud member of The International Nanny Association.

Business Owner
Kathleen Heydorn, the owner of The Nanny Connection, strives to constantly improve the level of service provided to the families and the nannies. Kathleen has a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University. As a former nanny herself, Kathleen knows the joys and the challenges of working with children. As a former teacher, she knows the importance of supporting and guiding a child’s cognitive, social, and behavioral development from the earliest age. Most importantly, as the mother of two young children, she knows the sense of security and relief that comes from having the best possible care for your children. Kathleen is a Past President of Hudson Clocktower Rotary, a graduate of the Leadership Hudson program, a member of the Hudson Chamber of Commerce, and the 2007 Business Woman of the Year in Hudson.
