First time ever there had a great time. Great ouside seating area with a beach volleyball court. We meet up with some friends this afternoon at Skinnys The waitress was great. She keeped up with group making sure everyone had what they needed.
I have to say there potion size is huge. Ordered a small nachos and what they brought to the table was from small.
Hubby and I will definitely be coming back.

Great bar with very good food. Live music was not what I usually listen to but they were very good. May have to add a new channel on my Pandora. Can’t wait to go back.

Really great service, great food and a big beer selection to choose from. And prices where fantastic. We will be back that’s for sure.

i love their bottle beer selection. great prices on all the beers. great specials too. food for the most part is good. great live bands play here including full throttle from the magazine full throttle. and if you’re in the mood to play corn hole or volleyball, they got it.

We tried this place because of seemingly high reviews. I’d not say this is a restaurant but rather a bar that serves food. Was not quite prepared for that upon entry figured there was a separated place to eat. All tables were high tops and flies were everywhere. We should have left but ate a sandwich and nachos which both were good just nothing out of this world. Would give 3 stars but the flies… everywhere. Really. Also No AC but interior had fans running which I supposed kept More flies from Landing on my food. A suggestion to owners: get a fly trap or 10. Suggestion to me: read all reviews first And leave when u see flies. I’m sure it’s a great place to hangout drink, watch sports or maybe a nightlife on weekends out back. Just shouldn’t be listed under restaurants in my opinion.

My mom and I really enjoyed our visit here. Food was yummy and staff very friendly. The band was great!

Well, it’s a dive bar in the dive town of Hudson. So, if that’s your thing, it’s okay. I had a hamburger and fries. It wasn’t expensive, but then, it also wasn’t very good or fresh-​tasting, it was greasy, and it is in a dive. The server was slow and disinterested, especially obvious because we weren’t drinking much alcohol. The regulars seem to fit in, but not being a regular, we felt kind of unwelcome. The atmosphere is definitely the trailer park crowd, and you are likely to hear and see things that will offend. I don’t know if he works there, but there’s a nasty old man in there with a dyed scraggly beard who says rude things with a fake Scottish accent and nags people to go on overpriced boat rides with him. He pushed his way into our dinner and eventually drove us out of there. If you like a dump full of slobs with bad food, well go for it.

You guys have a bouncer that worked last night, allowed people to fight. Allowed a girl to get hit while the bouncer kept up with other guys instead of calming the situation. The owners of this place need to get some control over security. From what I hear the bar is normally a good spot around the area. They need to watch cameras.

My husband and I love this place! We’ve been coming here whenever we’re visiting my family (who happen to live only a few miles away). We always feel welcomed. The beer selection is great. Oysters and other sea food are reasonably priced. Gets crowded on game days, but that makes it a bit more more fun. Love coming here for a quick bite, beers and hang out time.

This place is always packed. We live close by and have been there a few times. The food is great. My daughter loved the wings. They were spicy and meaty. We’ve had the nacho platter which is huge and loaded. We really enjoy the steamed shrimp. They are fresh and seasoned with old bay. Cheap drink specials. I do agree with another reviewer about the service. Locals definitely get priority with the bartenders.

If you aren’t a regular you are invisible! The staff was totally rude and couldn’t care less about the customer if you aren’t a friend of someone. Ordered a appetizer and asked for a different sauce. She acted irritated and snapped back, just a minute. She never did get me any sauce. Someone who appeared to be a manager dropped more F Bombs in front of us than a New Yorker who missed a prime parking spot. The wrap I had was good, just good not great, the Shrimp was burned and tasted like the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. After sitting there for a hour plus and witnessing everything I have a feeling the 5 star reviews are by either employees, owners or regulars who get GREAT attention at visitors expense.

Besides the succulent burgers that lived up to the previous reviews I had read, when I asked if there was a cigarette machine, the bartender offered me one from his own pocket. Easily the best greasy spoon in Hudson.

Very friendly staff! Bartenders serve up great and fair drinks. Definitely go on Monday nights for the dollar well drinks! Mmmmmm tequila sunrise! Great and yummy food!

One of Hudson’s best drinking and bar food establishments! Food is hot and drinks are cold. Owner Pat has done a great job staying on top of the service and the menu. Food is def above average for a bar. The specials are also top notch (dollar wells on Tuesdays etc.).
This is a very casual Hudsonian type place, no white tablecloths, but the burgers, loaded fries, and other fare are tough to beat when you want to kick back with locals. Live music, karaōke, and sports on tv, as well as a Volleyball court are also offered. Don’t ask to hear one of Pat’s jokes if you are easily offended or politically correct. :)
Wide selection of bottled beers and a good selection of beers on tap. The mixed drinks we had were made properly and the service was attentive and enthusiastic. And we are demanding customers! :) Only drawback for me is the on 19 location. Be safe and be aware that police patrol this area for drunk drivers. Don’t do it.

First time visitor. Philly sandwich was good, the oysters 5 different ways were EXCELLENT! Met one of the owners Jennifer, she was super nice and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Met more nice and friendly people as well. Great atmosphere. Very good prices. Great place! Will be going back!

A uniquely cool, laid-​back place, never fails to rock. Has a friendly welcoming ‘good times’ feel, from mgmt and servers to customers. Drinks and food excellent, consistently good times, meet a lot of interesting fun people. None of the ‘dive’ or ‘hole in wall’ atmosphere you get, lots of places. Actually a step up from almost anything around … but unpretentious, down to earth at the same time
Creds for their live music too, they’re on top of that. The outdoor tiki bar is a especially great sounding ‘room’ — awesome amphitheater effect (off the cement and block), and nicely insulated from US19 by the bullding in between. Skinny’s rules …

Skinny’s definitely ranks high up there as one of the best dive bars. It’s an open air bar, although there are fans circulating air. Covered seating is mostly at the bar with a few tables scattered about. There is a large outdoor seating area towards the back with its own bar. We went during the early afternoon (about 14:00) on Friday, 13 July 2012, so that back part part was not open for business. It looks like it gets rowdy at night. I’ll have to go at night next time I’m in town.
Prices were on the «I-​love-​to-​drink-​for-​cheap» end. I was having $ 2.00 Coors Light pints on draft and my wife was having $ 1.00 Bud Select pints on draft. See what I mean about the prices? Bottles are available for those preferring this method of imbibing this glorious Dionysian brew. Although we did not order food, several people were munching down on large-​portion dishes.
The clientele is my type of people: blue collar folk. Everyone was happy, talking, and generally having a good time. Nobody looks at you funny. Speaking of people, the service was friendly. We never waited long for a beer and it was always served with genuine friendliness.
Parking is available on an adjacent lot.

Personally I love this place. They have huge portions of food and some really great selections. Shepherd’s pie, burritos, pulled pork sandwiches, wings, and fish and chips. They have live bands, a HUGE patio with tons of seating and a second bar out there. They also have a volleyball court which I play on with my friends anytime I get the chance.
The age range is around 30 to 40’s with a lot of the local flare. It has a warm cozy homey time feeling and it makes you want to stay all night and drink. I love coming here when I’m in the area.
