Pizza Man of Hudson

This was our go to place for subs/​pizza UNTIL, one day we got this hard plastic like pellet in a sub and it almost broke my girlfriend tooth. We called merely to let them know that they may want to check their ingredients in the sub for more plastic pellets and we were then given the «You’re crazy treatment». Person on the phone pulled the «Well what do you want me to do about it» routine. We were only calling to let you know so someone else didn’t break their teeth!!! Customer service is pretty key if you are a dime a dozen pizza/​sub shop!!! Get with it.

Thanks for letting me place my order and wait 15 minutes before calling me back to tell me my address is not in your delivery area. Also thanks for forgetting to refund my card until I brought up the question. And thanks for letting me know I «should» see the refund in a few days.
To bad I really did want to try your pizza :(

I live less than a mile from this place and would not order from this place in the 5 years that I have been living here. The first time I found a bug in my food, the owner did nothing to take care of the issue. I gave them another try and the food quality was worse that anything that I had ever had.
A few months ago a local business owner (shop next door) told me that the place was changing hands. I decided to give the 2 new owners a shot. These people know what pizza, subs, and service really is… I has a pastrami, the bread is AMAZING. Everything was perfect, I have been back 3 times since then. They have remodeled the place, changed staff, CLEANED, and become very professional. I can not say enough good things about this place. They are right down the street and have a great quality product. I hope that they succeed and make a profit, I would hate to see the great work go down hill due to lack of profits.

Heard through the grapevine that new owners were taking over Pizza Man of Hudson so i decided to drive down the road and give it a shot.
Walked in and immediately greeted by two younger looking fellows. Discussed about past visits and they assured me that things were changing. «Mike and Cory» told me that they have been in the pizza business for over 15 years combined and recently purchased the pizza shop.
Asked them what was a good choice for lunch and they both had different ideas. One said sub, the other said pizza. We both laughed and decided while i waited for the sub I would enjoy a fresh slice of «Sicilian Pizza.» The slice was square and looked to be made in a pan. Mike informed me that it was made with a sweet red sauce and crust drizzled in garlic butter. Pizza was INCREDIBLE! Probably the best slice of pie I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Cory cooked me in a «Barnyard» sub which consisted of steak tips, teriyaki chicken, and bacon. My first bites had high hopes and they were not disappointed. The tips were delicious and bread was also drizzled in the garlic butter. Soft warm bread and tender tips. Wonderful Combination.
All in all i was blown away with the food quality and ambition of the two new owners. After eating I let them know how thrilled I was about my visit. They informed me about the changes they were making to the building and I could already tell they would succeed. Cory told me about how they just finished the new bathrooms and all the other projects they had on schedule for the upcoming weeks.
I had a great experience and highly recommend checking out Pizza Man of Hudson. Top pizza in the entire area. A+++

Below average food, below average place, rude people. With so many choices, you’re better off somewhere else!
