We are a small town church but we have a big and bold vision for what God will do with us. In worship we have a casual and friendly atmosphere. In mission we use our resources in generous ways. …and in study? We study God’s Word as best we can understand. We remain rooted in scripture, but we use our experience of the world, the knowledge we have of this world, and our history to inform our understanding of scripture.

History

Established in 1833.

Though a church with a long history (reaching back to 1831), this church is forward-​looking with ministries for young families and children.

Meet the Manager

Scott C.

Manager

Rev. Scott Carnes is the pastor at Hudson United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Garrett-​Evangelical Theological Seminary (on the campus of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL) where he met his wife, Carrie, also a pastor in a United Methodist Church in Peoria.

Rev. Carnes has a passion for biblical studies and communications. He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry in preaching.
