Specialties
Pampered pooches are what we’re all about. Group boarding and kennels are fine… for SOME dogs. However, small breeds, special needs and senior dogs are just one reason you might not be able to go that route. In these types of circumstances… one on one attention is always preferred. Other than running my own two chihuahuas out for a quick potty break… Dogs (as well as other types of pets) are supervised 24⁄7. Your furbaby lives with us in out small cozy home for their stay. In the warmer weather we may have meals out on the back porch. There is a kiddie pool to cool down in as well as a fenced in yard. Even out in the yard… everyone is always supervised. I take no chances. Your pooch is cared for as if they were my own. Pups staying weekends might go on a hike or to the lake or state park. I use long lines and never let pups off leash. Bigger pups love the adventure. We never use crates… ever! Pups may be separated using baby gates at mealtime and for brief timeouts only.
History
Established in 2013.
After leaving my job of over 4 years working at a local dog training facility, I decided to continue to do what I love. I started Hudson Tails to fill in the need for people and their pets. Kennels are simply not for everyone. Here, your pets become part of my family for the duration of their stay. Supervised 24⁄7. Animals are my passion. They say «Do what you love… and you’ll never work a day in your life».

Business Owner
My name is Lisa Toscano. I have worked for a local dog training facility for a little over 4 years. After leaving that job behind… I wanted to continue a career with animals. Hudson Tails was born. I am not a dog trainer, however I do have basic animal behavior background. I am patient and extremely loving and trustworthy. I have excellent references. I love nature, life and all animals. and that makes me good at what I do. I treat your babies the way I would hope someone entrusted with the care of my own would.
