It is a neighborhood shop — friendly and well stocked with all kinds of specialty finds for those interested in Portuguese, Brazilian and Latin American finds. Fantastic cheeses, meats, sausages, and treats — empanadas, pork, rolls… and WINE! Its small but surprisingly chock full of great finds that will put great products on your table(yes quail eggs too!).

What looks like a normal Mom and Pop store, with a Brazilian twist is actually a pretty kicking Meat and Fish Market. Note: The fish is flash frozen, but great quality, and they have Bacalao, as well. But, wild salmon for $ 3 a filet? Sign me up! Also, if you check out the meat counter, you’ll be pretty happy. I keep forgetting to come here, which I will remedy. The meat is super fresh. They make their own sausages(yes, to chorizo). I bought some really lean ground sirloin last night for $ 3.59/lb. I bought a ginormous bag of peeled garlic here for chump change. I love that. Friendly folks, too.
