Brake & Go

I have been taking my vehicles here for a quite a while since moving to Hudson NH a number of years ago. Even though the management and many of the technicians have «rotated» over the years, I have found the service and in particular their friendliness to be better than most. However, that said, I am writing today because I am irritated after bringing my wifes minivan in for a snow tire change over. To make a long story short, it was fairly close to closing time when I went in and had them take my snow tires off and put on my regular wheels. No big deal right? Well, when I got home, I was taking my snow tires out of the van when I noticed that they had broken two of the hubcaps. I know things happen but why not tell me that they had broken them? Instead, they said nothing but were «nice enough» to put the broken pieces (tabs that hold the hubcap onto the rim) in the trunk…
Because they are now closed, I cannot call and make them aware of my displeasure. I will call them tomorrow and see what, if anything they are willing to do. For now I will give them a two star rating and depending on what happens tomorrow, my subsequent rating will either go upwards or downwards. I will keep you posted…
