History

Established in 2002.

Kubinec Strapping Solutions was founded by Bob Kubinec. Bob spent many years in sales in the steel and plastic strapping industry and during that time witnessed countless injuries resulting from careless use of steel banding. Aware that a safer product existed, Bob set forth to develop an equivalent product to steel banding with safer properties that would ultimately eliminate injuries to users, products and civilians. After experimenting with various synthetic materials, Bob finally settled on high-​tenacity woven polyester. The key to this material’s success is the weave, its elongation and memory attributes. In the lumber industry where loads are commonly dumped off of trucks, our strapping offers the «rubber band effect», eliminating shock break, keeping products contained and providing a clean, safer working environment.
