The Howell Driving School has been serving the Central New Jersey Area since 1963. Our 16 Year Old Programs Include: — Obtaining Permit — Written and vision testing at both of our offices — 6 hours of behind the Wheel Training. We offer a Defensive Driving Course that is approved by the Division of Motor Vehicles and The Driving School Association of New Jersey. This 6 hour course entitles you to a 2-​point reduction on your Motor Vehicle record as well as a discount in insurance premiums. Howell Driving School Instructors are State Certified, fingerprinted and bonded by the State as well as the FBI. Background checks are conducted on a yearly basis. We pride ourselves with the care that is given to each individual student. Our instructors are mature and patient with careful consideration given to nervous drivers.
