My wife and I bought a new 2012 shadow cruiser 261bh last year made by Cruiser RV. Overall, we are very pleased with this lightweight trailer and have had several pleasant camping trips this year. The layout, look, and material quality is very good in our opinion. Other than a few fit-​and-​finish issues, all major appliances worked with no problems. We did have the Chinese made tires replaced under warranty after our first trip as they were cracking (dry rot) and were replaced with another Chnese off brand of tires (radials this time). A second issue is that ¹⁄₃ of the fresh water holding tank is unusable due to the placment of the hose on the tank running to the water pump. I confirmed with my dealer and with Gentry at Cruiser RV that this is «normal». Makes it a pain when winterizing and you need to get more than ¹⁄₃ of your 36 gallon tank full of RV fluid to run through your pipes, but next year I’ll try a different method to winterize.
I held off writing this review until we owned it a year and had some miles on the unit. I can definately recommend the company from our experience. They would have received ⁵⁄₅ if it wasn’t for the 2 issues listed above.
