Walter Ward Playground

Nice cool playground for kids with plenty of stuff to climb on, slides, and swings. I was here with my 3 year old niece so I stayed in the kiddy part but there also handball and basketball courts as well.
There were three big «things» with bridges, periscopes, and slides. My niece spent at least an hour climbing up and down them. I would suggest having your kids keep their shoes on as there was some broken glass. The parents all jumped in and cleaned it up but something to keep your eye on.
They also had sprinklers there which the kids loved to run thru.
Plenty of benches for the grown ups. They also had a working water fountain.
I think the Ice Cream Truck makes regular rounds. I heard the jingle a lot.
