I gained a lot of courage after my birthday to get my nipples pierced. Plus it was only $ 10 a piercing! YES! I was scared but I figured with smaller boobs that’s not really sensitive ill be ok. I paid and pick out my jewelry. Which you can pick the bar or the circle ring.
Once I went to the back, mike was like get naked! I bust out laughing, Like dude I am only taking off my shirt. After my shirt was off, and he made his marks. He told me to sit in the chair and lean my head all the back. Because some people tend to pass out.
And to tell you the truth, it really wasn’t bad. You can feel a little pressure but more so like a pinch. The pain doesn’t kick in til afterwards. (Throbbing) But my experience was good. They also provide after care if needed, and a paper with instruction’s on how clean the area.

Yesterday was my birthday, so I decided to commemorate this by adding a third tattoo to my shoulder that would represent my profession and personality. I have had friends that come to YPIWSI and their artwork is superb, so why not give this place a try?
I was given to Moe, who was patient with me as I tried to explain what I wanted. He used what I gave him to create a unique piece and took his time. I didn’t feel rushed nor pressured the entire time I was there and I respect that he stayed so late after closing!
I got the piece I wanted exactly as I had envisioned and I am ecstatic at how amazing an artist Moe is!
I will be coming back so that he can add his unique artistry to my other tattoos. So impressed and happy with this establishment!!!

The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Mike is really quick with the piercings. FYI: If you buy $ 5 worth of school supplies and bring them in with the receipt you get a free piercing today or tomorrow ⁸⁄₂₂ & 8÷23÷15.

Very happy with my nose piercing! Mike did an excellent job. He kept me calm the whole time while I got my nose pierced. He even provided me with aftercare for my piercing. It was about a 30 min wait bc he was working on a tattoo and waited until he took a break. Once again I’m really happy with it! Would recommend this place to anybody:)

I went in for a nose piercing and the whole process was really easy. Mike, the owner, did my piercing and he was really quick and confident. He followed all safety procedures and opened the sterile needle and jewelry packages in front of me. Afterward he went over aftercare and showed me multiple contacts so i could get in touch if i had problems. My piercing looks great, and the experience was as best as possible. :)

The first time I went there (about a year ago), I went to get my nipples pierced. The piercings came out well and I am still happy with them. However, the guy that did the piercings was a bit of a creep and kept talking about how nice my boobs were and how lucky my boyfriend is. At the end, without even asking, he picked up a camera and took a picture of his work which he said was for the company’s website. The picture still hasn’t shown up on the website.
A couple months ago, I went back for a tattoo. When I was talking to the guy at the desk about it he laughed and said he would never get a tattoo of what I asked for. Then I sat around waiting for over an hour because some woman had come in having no idea of what she wanted to get and spent hours looking through books. They refused to skip her and let people who were ready and knew what they wanted go around her. After the disrespect from the guy at the counter and having to wait for so long, I gave up and went elsewhere.
They do decent work but their customer service is horrible. They have workers who are absolute creeps and others who are ridiculously pretentious. Very unprofessional. But I don’t think you could beat their prices anywhere else.
EDIT: Just saw the little reply and the kind of accusation of being a paid reviewer. Not true, I just established my account to write this review several months ago, then reviewed the shop I went to after receiving poor service here. They got a good review because they gave me my tattoo without judgment or making me wait over an hour for another indecisive customer to choose something. The other out of town shop gave me a tattoo a full year before I came in to YPIWSI and he did a fantastic job, so being on here reviewing shops reminded me to give him props. Just because I gave other shops I have been to better reviews than this one doesn’t mean this is a paid account. It means they did a much better job, particularly in customer service. By the way, I think there’s a difference between «personal preference» and ripping a tattoo idea to shreds because an employee thinks it’s «stupid.»

I LOVE ROCKET MIKE! This man has done ever single piercing that have, except my Travis because I decided to go the cheap route! Huge mistake! I love the $ 10 piercing and that’s usually when I come! I’m here just about every 4 – 6 months looking to get a new piercing. Anytime I do recommendations for piercings it’s him. He makes it quick and painless! Love him!

Very happy with everything. Lala did a large coverup piece and did an amazing job. I’ll definitely be going back to her. Clean, professional and reasonable prices. I recommend this shop 100% and can’t wait to go back!

Terrible, Horrible, Awful Customer service. Asked if they did piercings, they said yes it’ll be 15 dollars, gave me the consent, then asked for payment. After waiting for 45 minutes with no update, asked who was doing the piercing and they stated the artist doing the tattoo that would be another hour and a half. I was told I could come back whenever but they wouldn’t refund the money. Two thumbs down

I walked in at 3:15, there were already several people inside. They opened at 3pm the Sunday I came in. I let the guy at the front know that I was wanting a piercing and he let me know that whomever was doing it would be with me as soon as he finished with his 3pm tattoo appointment. I brought a friend with me and I don’t feel like we waited long at all. Maybe 15min tops?
Mike, whom I believe is the owner brought me to the back right room to do my 2 piercings and I let him know I was literally terrified to get this done (eyes watering at this point) but he calmed me down so well and had such a soothing voice during the whole process. He told me to close my eyes and he pierced my top right ear (IDK the name for it) and my nose all under 45 seconds (or so it felt). Yes those tiny seconds were painful but not as bad because of him I believe.
The total cost of the 2 piercings were $ 30. I wasn’t quite sure of the etiquette of tipping for piercings but I gave him 30%. If this is inaccurate, someone please let me know so I can give the man more money.
Also, I appreciate the prices being so low for piercings with the customer service they provide. If I ever plan on piercing anything again, I will definitely be back. Until then, this is a highly recommended place to all my friends and family or anyone interested.

Came in and was helped. They were super nice and answered yor questions if you ask. My tattoo guy was super friendly. My friend and I wanted to get matching tattoos and he helped us get what we wanted and gave us a good deal. Throughout the entire session, he was super nice and made me feel comfortable. It was my first tattoo and I’m glad I got him! Their minimum is $ 30 for tattoos which is pretty good price compared to other places.

Girl with dark hair at the front counter was so rude & apparently the only tattooer on staff is also the piercer so why would it make sense to offer such a low price on piercings if you have to wait an unknown amount of time for the tattooer to become available? Dirty building after seeing it & parking is crappy. I would rather spend the extra $ 40 & get a piercing from a place that cares to have returning customers. I was visiting from out of town & had hopes to get my piercing done but definitely not at this nasty place. YUCK!

First off let me say that Im deathly afraid of needles. Mike completly took that away. BTW I got my septum pierced. So Mike tells me to close my eyes and lean my head back. By this time Im super nervous. Mike start talking in super calm voice. No exageration but I thought an angel was whispering in my ears. His voice was extremely soothing and converting. Next thing I knew… it was over. When I think about it did not hurt. The clamp was worse than the ⁹⁄₁₆ gauge going through my septum. I will be back and Im recommending this place to EVERYONE!!! HAHA

So I’m REALLY sad to write this review. Sorry guys… I’ve gotten some really cool letter done here on top of my shoulders, nothing fancy, and they did good with that one. Simple stuff. Gotten several piercings and I love their prices for that, for sure. But.
I got the biggest piece I have yet done on my inner forearm in July. I was so excited because I’ve been planning and thinking on this for months. My appointment was at 7, they started the tattoo at 9. It took 4 hours. The outline drawn by the apprentice at the front– she did AWESOME and spent so much time perfecting it with me. The outline was great.
The execution was awful. My lines are all crooked and weighted unevenly. It’s a stained glass piece so the lines are crucial. They are terrible. It looks like I got it done by an amateur, and the guys been tattooing for over 15 years. The color faded out terribly, some if which is always expected with new ink, but this look just like an old sad tattoo. And it’s barely a month old.
If you’re going to get a small tattoo done, you’re probably safe here. They’re good with black ink and simple stuff. I cant speak for anything else. I’m embarrassed to show this piece to anyone who knows a thing or 2 about what good tattoos look like. That makes me sad.

My experience with them. I hope that they do it right the first time!!! They messed up mine, and for a re-​touch, they give you a lot of excuses… The first one was that when you comes in they tell you about it…, NOT. Second, they say that is one of their rules that if needs to be re-​touch it has to be on the persons time off, which it was not posted anywhere and nobody told me about it… At the moment of asking for an explanation The person at the desk didn’t had the consideration or manner to look even at my face to tell me all this. There is no way that I will go to re-​touch the tattoo knowing that they are not serious and responsable about their job. Like I say, That was my experience and I hope that this not happen to any if you, if you decide to take the risk, which is not worth it…

Got my forward helix done (3 piercings at once) Mike has done all mine I have my nose, helix, forward helix, he did my daughters belly button. I won’t let anyone else do my piercings! While at the shop getting my forward helix done I asked for a quick opinion on a tattoo/​cover up and he took the time to answer it and was friendly! Thanks Mike!!! Y’all rock!

Worth the trip from Katy. Easy to find right off the Beltway.
Didn’t have an appointment, went in on a Friday afternoon — actually got seen in under an hour. Had the nips pierced by Mike, fun conversationalist, extremely professional. I honestly didn’t even feel the first one done, second was done so fast that honestly the clamp hurt worse lol
The temperature for the location was a bit cold, but I assume that’s to keep out the proliferation of germs and such.
Everything was sparkling, front service desk was exceptionally helpful in terms of what they offered and what the aftercare was.
TL;DR: Fantastic piercing service, cheap, all-​inclusive. Would highly recommend to BMEs.

This is the place I come to get my piercings. They are cheap, but good. Piercings are $ 15. On specials they are only $ 10, and on your birthday they are FREE. But only the day of your birthday. Tattoos are a bit more expensive though. Their piercing jewelry is $ 10 for anything. The guy in the back that does the piercings is really nice, but hardcore sweet with a kick! POW! Steve-​Oh the other guy with the blond pony-​tail is nice too, they may look mean because of all of their tattoos and piercing, but looks can and will be deceiving. The only problem I had with this place was that chick who worked in the front because when I first came to this spot back on Hallows Eve 2011, she was the biggest you know what. She was beyond rude, and beyond harsh to the point of life. I stopped coming here for after a while til one day I thought it would be a good idea to tell someone about her rude behavior, so I called up to the place and talked to Steve-​Oh about her. I told him, I love getting piercings from them, but seriously that chick is the front is my problem. I told him she was beyond rude, and needed to change her attitude or they were just going to lose lots of business because of her. So, he assured me that he talked to her, and she is beginning to come around. Lol, I made sure she came around, I even wrote a recommendation on their facebook page about that chick.
So, I go back into this place about in 2012 and talk to the chick (just to be talking, no purchase neccessary) she was ok, I saw an improvement, but she needed more work. Now, yesterday I went in to ask about their upcoming specials and jewelry. She was WOW totally sweet, and kind. She even tried to engage in conversation with me and my sister. She was telling me about getting a tongue ring, and how she got one. I was thinking lol, is this the same rude chick, wow she is a whole changed person. Brilliant, my plan has worked!!! Lol, my sister and I literally sat in the car for 25 mins questioning each other about the chick. I finally decided to walk in, and just talk to her. Lol, she aint got no worries, I aint got no worries…
Oh yeah, I meant to mention all of their jewelry is clean before they stick you. They also give you helpful tips that you should abide by to make sure you don’t get an infection.
I will and would most def recommend this place to anyone. Don’t go anywhere else spending an arm and a leg on piercings. Claire’s isn’t even worth it.
