I’m becoming increasingly more frustrated with Comcast and their customer service employees. I had a dispute with them because back in early January, after a Comcast employee jumped my fence and started installing service for the house behind me through my hub. As soon as I posted a complaint, they called me. I have like 3 or 4 missed calls from 3 different people who is supposed to be handling this matter. It goes to their voicemail and no one calls me back. I’m starting to think that I am dealing with a bunch of liars, as I have talked to several people and have been promised on multiple occasions that I would receive a call back and that this would be handled properly. I originally spoke with customer care representatives on the 1 – 800 line. Which by the way, is not customer friendly. Robert Mason (area supervisor), received a voicemail from Mrs. De La Rosa (damage claims) and now am receiving voicemails from Liberty Mutual Insurance. Every single time, the call comes in while I am at work. Which by the way I am a teacher and CANNOT have my phone during the day. I have a super quick lunch and an early morning break. I return the call and it goes to voicemail. I have not received a call back in 2 weeks! This is unnaceptable. They are forcing me to have to contact the media, Unilocal,and any other business outlet. This is really bad customer service. I will be letting everyone know that.

Amazing customer service!!! I ordered new service over the phone and just needed to come in and pick up my equipment. I was running extremely late and got here 5 minutes before the store closed. They had me out within five minutes with a smile!

I’ve had Xfinity for over a year. It’s been the worst year of my life internet-​wise. There’s a power outtage every other month. Atleast that’s what they tell you (I later found out they lied). They will admit to their own mistakes, but will charge you to fix them. They even have a so-​called loyalty dept who even admitted the ssme doesn’t fit. To top it off, they make sure they are the only provider in the area so you have to put up with them. I’m considering moving just to get away from them. If you can help it NEVER GET XFINITY!!!

After dealing with Uverse for almost 3 weeks without having an installation my only option was Comcast. At that point anything was better than what I had gone through.
I was a bit skeptical bc I’ve had Comcast before and the customer service was less than desirable. HOWEVER, as soon as I walked into the Comcast store I went from the worst customer service experience to one of the best I’ve ever had.
Patrice was the one who helped me and she went above and beyond finding me the right package and making sure I was taken care of. She was nice, friendly, and very quick about it. Overall great. I never write reviews but felt like this was warranted. Everyone will have problem with customer service at some point, but this was the exception to that rule. Great job by everyone there.

The hispanic gal in door she needs year long training, so she can at least smile n be polite. You are working for a big corporation at-​least you can do that for free.

I have had Comcast Business services for quite a while. It is extremely difficult to conduct business with this company. The option is AT&T but I have been with Comcast for years. I set up with their phone and internet service and the video was free. Even though I was in a contract that made no difference to Comcast… they started charging for the «free «video. It really does SUCK that there are so few options for a small business. When I can’t bear it anymore I guess it’s At&t. COMCAST IS TERRIBLE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I HAVE MANAGED TO STEER QUITE A FEW PEOPLE AWAY. THAT’S THE BEST I CAN DO. BE WARNED!!!

Comcast is absolutely absurd. The rep for my building in Houston told me everything would go smoothly and the tech would be there on Saturday to install. I tried to call said ‘rep’ back (Garwin B. — avoid at all costs) SIX TIMES!!! No response at all. So I called comcast directly and they said I was enrolled for service already and they would be there to install on Tuesday. Wait, what? I was told Saturday by the comcast rep. So they tell me if I want it earlier I have to go pickup the box. I go and pickup the box and call them to ‘authorize’ it as they have requested. They tell me on the phone there is no record of my equipment. Wait, what? I just picked it up from your store. So after 4 different wonderfully useless comcast reps, whom did NOTHING to give me service, I am still stuck with a comcast cable box and a screen that says ‘cable box unauthorized for use.’ Great work comcast, way to really strive towards mediocrity.

Beware! The lady added voice service without us knowing. My husband went in to upgrade some equipment and had a discussion with the lady about our bill being too high. She never mentioned adding a phone line, just said she got us a better deal. I found out about the new phone service because I couldn’t access my account when I called since I wasn’t providing them with the «correct» phone number, which I didn’t even know existed. They claim they were doing me a favor to lower my bill. I didn’t want or need a phone line.

Service has been awful. My Box has only worked 50% of the time and now I have unplugged it and put the service straight into the TV. On Demand is a joke, it works less than the TV service. I’ve had service people come out to my house and I end up doing all the work and the people on the phone never accomplish anything. My Biggest frustration right now is that I cannot view my bill. I signed up for e-​bill and I get an email notice but when I log in the web page tells me nothing. No billing history and statements. What the hell! This lame company is spending more money on marketing and squat on customer retention. «Xfinity» is just a new name for a crappy company.

This is a review for Comcast in general, not this particular location.
I have found when you have serious questions and need to speak with someone in English (located in the US), you need to immediately ask to speak with the Loyalty Department. I did this, and as I explained my issue of being over-​billed, the «customer service» guy just hung up on me. Way to go Comcast! Customer loyalty at it’s best.

My review is not for this office, it is for Comcast in general. I will be happy with a 1 star for the few people that actually seem to know what they are doing. Comcast doesn’t even deserve that high of a rating. I live in an apartment complex that is serviced by Comcast. For me, it is their service or nothing. In just under 2 months of service, many calls have been made covering internet, tv/​dvr and connection issues. Besides none of their services being reliable, other things that have been encountered with them are:
Internet difficulties (which are problematic for my wife who needs reliability for her on-​line schooling)
Ineffective/​difficulties with problem resolutions
Omitted or falsified information on our call logs
Falsified reports from service technicians
Inability to be connected with a supervisor when asked to be on the phone
No return phone calls from supervisors when requested
No consistency on problem solving from phone service reps
Non-​disclosure of charges being incurred
This company needs monitored and cracked down on. They have no pride in their service or concern for their customers. They are paid good money and should provide reliable and quality service for that money. My next review will be with the BBB website.

I wish you could do negative stars! I hate Comcast! As soon as AT&T Uverse comes, I’m gone from Comcast. They have NO customer service. They could care less what happens on an appt. case in point– service tech came out to fix DVR box & Internet. He seemed liked he knew what he was doing. But… When he left the Internet didnt work. Many calls and… nothing. Had to schedule another appt. miss more work. The problem? The tech guy FORGOT to restart the service!!! It took the 2^nd tech 5 min. It couldn’t be done remotely. I couldn’t do it. How stupid of a system!
I’ve been seriously considering changing to Direct TV. I’ve had it before and had no complaints. Until Uverse arrives, that might be my best option. At this point, anything to get rid of Comcast!
FYI. Dish is not an option. I don’t trust this company at all. But that is my personal opinion.

the deals are good, but the employees they make you all down, gosh smile

Comcast raises their rates continually. It seems that a few dollars are added to every other bill. They offer a 1-​year promotional rate to new customers, but they always find something to add to the bill regardless, such as increasing your modem or cable box rental rate.
Comcast customer support is a joke. It usually takes 5 to 10 calls to get an issue resolved. Plan for about 4 hours getting bounced around between service reps, waiting on hold, and repeatedly hung up on. For billing issues, we’ve been told on several occasions that an issue has been resolved only to find that it hasn’t been resolved when we get the next bill.
Several times we’ve waited around the house for a Comcast service visit with a 3-​hour window, and the technician never showed up. An hour or two past the deadline and still waiting around the house, we called and were told that the service visit was cancelled. Comcast had cancelled it because they didn’t make the window, and we weren’t even notified.
Comcast no longer offers basic analog cable. Now a cable box is required on every TV, except for some QAM channels that Comcast annoyingly keeps moving around. (Many new HDTV’s support QAM but we need a cable box known as a «DTA» on our older sets.)
Comcast cable internet has been more reliable for us than DSL.

If Houston had another cable provider, I would probably be their customer. I strongly dislike every aspect of Comcast, from their shoddy work to their outrageous prices for substandard products to their nonexistent customer service. My grandma always told me that if I didn’t have anything nice to say, I should hold my tongue. So, I will now highlight the only good thing I have to say about Comcast:
Even though their customer service centers are in horrible locations, the ladies (only ladies, all the dudes that work for Comcast are jerks) are nice and helpful.

I have no complaints. Our cable went out almost everytime there was weather disturbances in the area. That was over five years ago, since then, there have been no problems.
One minor issue is the channel lineup, which seems to have no type of organization. If it were my company, I would group them together based on focus audience, ie. young kids, older kids, pre-​teens, teens, college students, married before college, under 40 and single, married 35 to 50, divorced before 50, married 50 to 70, second marriage, the best years of your life.

I’ve received better customer service from automated systems. in fact. i actually asked the rep if he was automated/​a program. just to make sure.
slow internet. and i agree. the bill is NEVER right… i’d jump off them in a minute if i had another option in my area…

I hate Comcast, but I love my TV programs, so I have no choice but to deal with Comcast. Once upon a time I had Time Warner cable and I didn’t think it could get worse… but alas I was wrong. I wish I had another choice (and satellite goes out whenever it rains, which is often, so that’s out).
Why do I hate Comcast?
1) They keep raising the price. I have the BASIC digital cable package. I only get channels 1 – 100 and many of those channels don’t have anything. My monthly cost is $ 58 for BASIC cable. Ridiculous. I have called several times to get better deals and this is what they can give me.
2) I used to have HBO so I could watch some of the great original series on there. HBO would tile all the time (little boxes all over the screen — basically horrible reception and it is unwatchable). I had people come out from Comcast 4 different times over a 9 month period. I got a different answer every time. They always said it was not my problem but an outdoor box problems, a problem with the lines to the house, etc… But when I’d get my next bill, they’d try and charge me. I called and asked why I was being charged and they said the problem had been ‘user error’. One customer service rep said that was code for ‘the customer doesn’t know how to use their remote’… really? seriously? They would always reverse the charges. Eventually, I had to drop HBO from my line up because it just didn’t work.
3) As noted in #2, the workmen seemed to all be trained differently (or not at all in some cases). Every person who came to my house to fix the HBO problem said the person who came out before them was an idiot and that THEY would fix it. Each time they said it was fixed (not always able to be checked at the time because the problem was intermittent). The problem was never fixed.
4) Their website sucks. You can see how much your bill is but it does not clearly show if and when a payment was posted.
5) I have TIVO, so I have cable cards that slot into the back of the TIVO. I am unable to get channel 1 (on demand) because of this. Comcast said it’s just too bad, even though that’s ‘part of the package’ I am paying for. I don’t get a credit for a service I cannot receive even though Comcast said it’s because of cable cards, not TIVO.
Oh Comcast, how I hate thee. I wish I had another viable option. Maybe some day.

I would love to hate Comcast, but the truth is that I dont. I’ve had them twice before. I watch TV when I am extremely bored, and lately I’ve been very bored. So, comcast came to my rescue. I went on their website and checked out the deals. I know that I can find better deals (sometimes) if I speak to a representative, so I called (you have to say you are having problems with the site so you can get something waived… I know. it’s wrong!!).
I got Cable and internet for $ 36 per month, for six months… wait for it… wait for it… NO CONTRACT! Woo hoo! I asked about DVR and he said it costs $ 14.95… now, that’s too much. I asked him to waive the intallation fee and I’m in. so he gave me dvr for $ 6.95 per month and intallation fee for $ 20 instead. Wow, I’m good!
So far so good. He gave me good service because I am at this very moment satisfied with his customer service. Now, if they mess with me. I’ll be happy to update this review. YOU hear that COMCAST?! Treat me well or it will be all over Unilocal! =0)
I think I got me a pretty sweet deal being that I was paying $ 40 for phone and internet with ATT. So, for now. Comcast and I can be friends.

Oh how I would love to write a honest and truthful review that reflects my true feelings towards you Comcast but alas the censoring would render it as garbage, nothing would be left than three or four disjointed words. So allow me to sum up my feelings simply and politely — BOO HISS YOU SUCK!
The bill is never correct, the cable is always patchy and pixilated and I’ve never experienced the internet speed promised. Gee what awesome service.
