History

Established in 2014.

X10 Archery is located inside a historic archery facility, which had served the greater Houston archery community for over 30 years. Now, with a new owner and a new name, X10 Archery offers a refreshing new archery experience. With a remodeled facility, a great atmosphere, and a team of USA Archery certified instructors, we pride ourselves on bringing a level of professionalism and structure, never before seen in Houston.

Lynda LeCompte is half owner with her husband, Bud, and is the brains behind the operation. Lynda is a USA Archery Level 3 NTS Coach, and has been coaching since 2011. She started volunteering for the Pearland Archery Club, and grew the club very quickly with the introduction of a JOAD program. After almost four years of being head coach for Pearland Parks and Recreation’s archery program, and private coaching, along with years of business and retail management experience, Lynda’s experience is sure to benefit many Houston archers as X10 Archery gets off the ground.

Meet the Business Owner

Lynda L.

Business Owner

Lynda, a British national, has been heavily involved in archery since 2010, when she bought her first compound bow and got involved in the 3D circuit and bow hunting community. She started volunteering for the Pearland Archery Club in early 2011, and quickly became the club coach. Lynda was certified as a Level 2 instructor in October 2011, and as a Level 3 NTS Coach in February 2014. In June 2014, she followed her passion to become a full-time archery coach.

It wasn’t too long before the opportunity arose for Lynda to take ownership of a well known archery range, with a rich history. And now, under a new name and new management, Lynda will take this historical archery range to a new level, under the banner of X10 Archery.

Bows in Lynda’s collection include a Hoyt Vector 32 compound bow, a Sarrel’s Blueridge Longbow, and an Olympic recurve bow with a Hoyt Radian riser and Hoyt M1 limbs.

Lynda attends Sagemont Church, Houston TX, is married to Bud and has a son, Kurtis.
