World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest

This review is a bit delayed but it still needed to be written. So the BBQ Cook-​Off is one of the biggest aspects of the Houston Rodeo, which happens to be world’s largest rodeo.
So, first off I’d tell you the COOK-​OFF is like a hot new club, you better get to know someone. Either via being friends, or via money. You can start out early in the year and find the crew you’d like to support and donate to them. With your donation when tickets go around you are either given tickets to the events or given the chance to buy tickets. So what do these tents give you? ALL YOU CAN EAT QUE of course, and an open bar.
Of course like every club not every tent is equal. Starting out I’d suggest try getting into whatever you can. Beggars can’t be choosers and overtime get to know more people, trade wrist bands for different nights, and experience some of the other tents. Then the following year pick and choose and try to upgrade.
It’s not a family event, as much as you would think it would be, it’s a huge drunken party. Be careful, don’t start no drama and you’ll have a good time.
