Vip-Express Bus

Casino Express is under NEW MANAGEMENT. They have moved to 10 782-​B, Bellaire Blvd. in the old Kroger shopping center at Bellaire at Wilcrest. As of March 14, 2012, they are closed until Friday. When I went by the office the lady said they were not sure when the trips will start again. She said to call them before you head over. The number is still 281−933−9933. Hopefully, they will fix the buses or get new ones. I ride them all the time, and I agree that the ride is very uncomfortable because the buses are in need of some repairs and sometimes there is a stench from the restrooms that loom in the air, especially if you sit near the back of the bus.

Have you ever wanted to get away for a night, gamble at Coushatta, spend only $ 11 for a round trip ticket, and smell like cigarettes at the end of the night? What? You’ve never had that thought? Okay, just me then.
Casino Express is located near the Jack in the Box on Wilcrest. It’s in a slightly shady area. When my bf and I went to pick up a last minute meal at Jack in the Box, there was a cop car flashing its light in the parking lot. Already shady.
The parking lot for Casino Express has some areas where it is not lit that well. I didn’t find that safe since you would be leaving your car there overnight. There are security cameras there but it doesn’t cover the entire lot. To get your tickets, it’s first come, first serve. If you are in a group, it’s best to do it as a group since your group could be split up. There are 5 pick up times (8 am, 10:30 am, 6 pm, 8 pm, and 10:30 pm). It takes about 3 ½ hours to drive to Coushatta but the driver does make stops along the way to pick up passengers. The stop took a long time and did delay our time at the casino. On our way there, we watched two lame movies. I’m sure you’ll experience the same thing. We left the plaza at 8 pm and left Coushatta at 4:15 am.
Overall, if you’re looking for a night out at the casino, you might want to consider this place. I won’t say it’s the best. I know there are other places that are better and has a better lit parking area so you don’t have to be worried about leaving your car overnight.
FYI, if you go during the night that Daylight Savings Time is going to take place, they won’t give you an extra hour. I should know, I lost an hour of not playing the penny slots.
