The egusi is great. I’ll give them Tht, but the bitter leaf soup was comparable to toilet water and I’m not exaggerating. It was soo WATERY& tasteless. I called them when I got home to ask them how they could sell soup like this and all they said is «that’s how our bitterleaf is cooked». If I didn’t live so far from here I wld hv returned the soup and gotten my money back Cz I cldnt eat it. Total waste.

Yummy African cusine !! Me and my hubby always always go here when we’re in town. Expect to wait a little bit because they cook everything fresh but other than that enjoy authentic home grown food. I get the shiahkabob beef and chicken with the pepper sauce !! Sooooo yummy try them

Yum, ! I had the grilled lamb(bone in). Important. Not what I initially wanted… But man, the spice was awesome. You got come here. And wash your fufu down with an ice cold beer. Note to self: bring my ivory colored self back in here a little later to try the goat soup.

A friend of mine took me to lunch at this place I have been back approximately 5 times in the last 30 days. The prices are moderate and the food is excellent. It appears to be a family business and everyone is courteous friendly and polite. The food is fresh interferes that they do not make anything until you order it. I like the quiet environment as well. I believe the only reasons this place is not packed is because of its location and possibly enough people have not heard about it.

I just read good reviews about this restaurant. Drove down from medical center area. Could not find the location. Was in the shopping strip. No signage, not even on the door. I called, a lady picked the phone. I told here i was driving in the strip, she could not give me directions. I asked if there was a land mark… a door sign… anything to locate the restaurant. All she could tell me was, there is a black car outside. As good as the reviews were, I was so looking forward to tasting the grilled lamb. I hope the owner sees this review and invest in a door sign. .or at least a door number. …lighting. …

Good food, fair prices and nice place. The staff are friendly and helpful if you don’t know what to order. My husband is Nigerian and although they don’t have the Igbo(yellow) Garri we really like this place. I think the owner and most of the staff are from Ivory Coast but food caters to all African cultures. Anyone who enjoys African food will enjoy this place.

I’m not very adventurous in foods but my co-worker asked me to try this place. I had my lamb & rice to go. Wow! What a surprise! The lamb is cooked very well, the rice has the spicy kick to it and the veggies steamed. Very good! :)

If you are looking for authentic African cuisine this is the place to go. I ordered some sweet plantains with Senegalese rice and fish. It was great!
