U SPA

Um. I think I’m in the wrong place. Google «u spa Houston». Then you’ll completely understand. HAAAA!!! Oops. No harm, no foul though. So. Funny. I was completely clueless until I saw this room I was put in. Even then gave it the benefit of the doubt until I was taken «to be showered». I assumed it was a perk to give me an opportunity to rinse off the massage oil. They actually BATHE you. So bizarre. I am very clearly not the intended clientele. BAHAHA! As soon as I was out of there I knew what was up 100% when the business card I was handed advertised «26 young female staff». OMG OMG OMG! I saw and experienced nothing inappropriate but yeah… You don’t advertise on the Houston backpage with a bunch of Asian girls in bikinis/​lingerie if you’re a legit spa! HAAAAAAA! I have to just laugh. I swear my life is a sitcom.

If you want the BEST massage… ask for Jennifer! She will definitely not disappoint. My mother and I have been going there quite some time now and had a few different ladies do our massage, but once we came across Jennifer, we do not let anyone else massage us! So naturally we can never go together… lol
I’m giving this place 3 stars only because they don’t have more workers there like Jennifer… so make sure you call before you go and make an appointment with her, just to be sure she will be available (However they do except walk-​ins).

I’ll come back again. I usually pay double the price of what they are asking for with the same massage.

I returned to U Spa for a couples massage a few months after my initial visit and will never return again. Not only were the massages sub par, the were extremely rude and aggressive about the tipping. I left a more than generous tip (given the quality of service) and so did my boyfriend. .unbeknownst to us. I was intentionally mislead into into thinking my boyfriend had not left any tip. Therfore, they ended up getting a $ 45 tip for mediocre service. Uncool and unscrupulous.

I have been going to U Spa for several times. That alone, I ought to tell you something. My five-​star rating for them is based upon my overall experience after years of foot and full body massages. In fact, I was just there today for a glorious deep tissue massage. The service from start to finish was incredible! I look forward to my next massage at U Spa and will continue to turn others onto this wonderful establishment!
