I’ve only had the breakfast tacos from here so far, but i’d have to say I love how they make them. I’ve had the bacon and the sausage tacos and both are filled with egg, potato, and cheese. It’s a good portion size, inexpensive, and two of them fill me up pretty well. For those that don’t prefer potatoes in their tacos, you can order them without i’m sure. The options for breakfast tacos are(as of 01.21.2016): #10. Breakfast Taco $ 1.65 Dozen: $ 18.25 Flour tortilla, scrambled egg, potato & cheese Breakfast Taco w/Meat $ 1.85 Dozen: $ 20.50 Add your choice of ham, bacon or sausage Some day i’ll go for the regular food to have a more well rounded review, but so far so good for me. And that’s just based on the tacos.

This place is average at best. Ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap from their ‘Healthy Solutions’ menu, and it came with FRIED chicken with nothing but lettuce and a few diced tomatoes loosely wrapped in the wheat wrap that all fell apart when eating. No other veggies and no honey mustard on the inside, just a pack of Newman’s dressing on the side. This place is located adjacent to some corporate and retail buildings so I think it mainly serves as a quick to-go place or a fast place to grab lunch for those employees, so no effort to impress.

I got the salmon salad to go. After reading bad reviews I was hoping that they would come thru w something simple like a salad. This has to be th nastiest salad ever lol. Th fish was tough and dry and had a strange sticky fatty layer I pulled off. The carrots were hard. I don’t have dressing but I had oil and vinegar. Thanks Tommys. It was just bad. I’m on my break and I’m really hungry so I didn’t even bother bringing it back. The breakfast taco was ohk. I won’t be going back.

This is one of my favorite places to stop if I am in the area, such friendly staff and I love the food obviously. I usually order the bean burger but everything else I’ve tried was great too. Just be careful if going during lunch hour because parking can be tricky!

Tommy’s has delicious food, but unfortunately horrible service. Myself and the company I work for routinely orders from Tommy’s. And when I say routinely I’m talking about once or twice A DAY. The man who answers the phone, Ed, is always flustered. He freaks out when you place multiple orders with separate payments. He’s always putting you on hold. He is literally a basketcase. I’d say 6 times out of 10 the order is usually wrong. I just let it go since talking to Ed stresses me out and I’d rather not deal with him. Well today was the last straw. They delivered the wrong order… like, completely wrong. Not even close. So I called and told Ed that I got the wrong order and if they could please deliver the right thing. He kept putting me on hold and incredulously kept asking if I «opened the right box.» He was in utter disbelief they gave me the wrong order. I told him that they routinely do mess up orders and that REALLY pissed him off. He became very ugly and demanded I give the food back to «prove» they gave me the wrong order. I told him I was perfectly fine with that because I wasn’t lying. He then literally starts yelling«OKOKOKBYE. GOODBYEBYE. BYE!!!» All the while I’m trying to ask him for his name. He finally tells me «it’s ED!» I asked him to transfer me to the manager. He proudly responded he was the manager. I told him then that was pretty pathetic and hung up. It amazes me a MANAGER reacts so negatively to customers(see other reviews), when it is their fault to begin with. I can honestly say myself as well as the other 20+ people that order from Tommys at my place of business will never order from them again.

Best omelette in Houston for under $ 10, I have been going to Tommy’s for over 5 years and never have had anything I did not like.

I wrote a review a couple of weeks ago. I digress. I will never come back here. Maria, the cashier, is an incompetent imbecile! She charged me for tomatoes and spinach in my salad. I knew she did because I asked why my $ 7.65 salad was up to $ 9.36. That wasn’t the problem. The problem was when I sat down, there were only 3 cherry tomatoes in my salad. I told them I did not just pay for 3 freaking tomatoes. Another idiot of a worker grabbed my salad with a sarcastic smirk and took it to the owner. The owner then told Mariah she wasn’t supposed to charge me. She kept repeating that she probably hit it twice. Idiot! Give me back my money! She did, but the attitude of those two girls would cause me to upside their heads, so it’s best that I never return. The grilled chicken in my salad was delicious, but it’s not worth my business dealing with those idiotic broads. I feel bad because the other employees are awesome. Tommy’s has just lost a customer to Skyline Deli. I’ll also advise my corporate energy company to not patronize there either.

BLUF: Almost like a diner but missing the charm. Quick reasonably priced food that will kill the hunger but not excite you. The place is pretty big with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Go up to the counter and order. Theyll call your number when it is ready. You can order pretty much anything. We got breakfast. It was fine. They have fancy bacon that I recommend getting if you want bacon. I got the standard bacon and it was terrible. Go here to eat food and stop being hungry. Dont go here if you want something awesome or original. Careful and lunch time, i bet it is crazy busy based on all the buildings right there.

Tommy’s has delivered breakfast tacos for my team for years, and we absolutely love them! They’re always accurate with the order, location, and competitively priced for the area. We’ll continue to use them for a very long time!

My first experience was a cheeseburger which I thought was maybe 2 stars worth. I have tried to club sandwich and it was loaded with bacon, turkey, tomato etc. This sandwich was very good, 4 stars. On Monday Tommys features a fajita taco lunch plate(2) with bean and rice, the beef was flavored very well. A small side of guac and pico is included. Loved it! Also have tried the burritos, very good also 4 stars! He also sells mini pies from House of Pies, tried the pecan, it was great! I have seen folks eating the all day breakfast and it looks very good also. I do like this spot and its walking distance from me!

I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for over 5 years but today is the last day! My coworkers and I order breakfast from there quite often and we place the order by phone for delivery to our office building in the same complex. The manager… owner…or whatever he is… is almost always rude and facetious when taking our order. And, God forbid, we call back because something was missing from our order or they sent the wrong item! There have been numerous times where we’ve placed an order and they deliver it without the salsa or jelly/jam that we’ve requested and when we call to inform them, he gets really nasty and acts as if we’ve just asked for his left arm! My coworker was so shaken today after she got off the phone with him that she wanted to cancel the order altogether. All because, she asked them to include the condiments and he replied«Yeah because it’s always our fault when your order is wrong and never your fault, huh?». Really dude… was that called for? It was totally beside the point! You just can’t find good service nowadays. They just lost three!!!

Food is always good, however, the person who answers the phone each time is rude, just plain rude. We ordered from there about 2 weeks ago for delivery and it was rude then too. Won’t be giving anymore of my money to places who don’t seem to understand customer service.

I used Unilocal to find a local lunch spot near our hotel. The reviews for Tommy’s were good so we decided to check it out. It’s nothing fancy, but the food was really good. My friend tried the veggie burger with seasoned fries and I had the turkey melt with tater tots. The restaurant was not busy, but it was a Friday after the lunch rush. So we received our food in a decent amount of time. The service was typical of a quick eat spot surrounded my office complexes, nothing special. We both left satisfied.

I spent $ 8 for a turkey sandwich and tots and waited 40mins for it. The food is definitely NOT worth the 40mins wait.

Delicious burger, cheesecake, you choose your own toppings at the small salad bar, and it’s very reasonable price. SERVICEISBAD! the lady giving the orders forgot my friends order last time, and took another 15minutes, while my burger was getting cold. No smile, apologize, nice word, nothing. very disappointing.

You can do better job at home than this place. If you can warm two tortillas, scramble eggs, grade some cheese and throw some sausage in a pan, you’ve got this Tommy’s. The breakfast taco consisted of scrambled eggs, cold tortilla, a slice of American cheese and sausage that had been microwaved. Come on… If you use a microwave oven at your restaurant, which you shouldn’t, at least have the pride to muffle the beep…

Stuck near the Galleria and need a good cheap breakfast/lunch spot? Look no further. I came in to fulfill my breakfast tacos cravings and seeing the size of the tacos for only $ 2 each, I was a happy camper. Eggs weren’t watery, tacos were stuffed to the max with eggs, cheese, potatoes, and sausage or bacon. The lunch menu looked really good too and if I were in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to come by. It looked like you could easily have a feast in the $ 7 range. My only complaint? No chorizo for those breakfast tacos…

I looked up this place while I was at the doctor’s. They had a good variety of burgers in addition to sandwiches and such. I wanted to try the buffalo burger. I ordered one for takeout. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, mayo and easy mustard on a toasted wheat bun. I asked to add cheese. The place was virtually empty but I had a coupe of orders ahead of mine. I waited about 10 minutes before the burger was ready. They cook the burgers medium well. We headed for Sugar Land and made one more stop at McDonald’s for drinks. I found the burger to be tender enough. However, I should have let them put mustard as usual, not easy. I did not like the onions being put on in long pieces. These kept falling out. Chopped onions work better. The burger was just right for lunch. I missed my jalapeños though. I must mention that access to this place is a breeze. The disabled parking is right up front. The walk up the ramp to the door is quick.

Full disclosure — my friend owns this restaurant so I admit that I am a bit biased. That said, I would highly recommend the banana milk shakes, breakfast tacos and falafel in particular. Their burgers are good and they always deliver good value. The falafel in particular deserves some additional attention. It is a family recipe from the old country and I have not ever had better. Don’t miss Tommy’s for lunch if you are in the Galleria area of Houston.

Whether it’s a Tommy omelet, breakfast taco, or two eggs over medium w/the works, or you have one of those awesome burgers in the afternoon, Tommy’s rocks!!!
