I go here way too often and there are multiple reasons for this. Firstly, the staff is always kind and helpful. Even though, I like to try new things I am guilty of ordering the same drink every time(honey jasmine green tea w/tapioca)! Davis, always advises me on trying something new and every time I do he let’s me sample it before actually making my drink. Never complained about any of the suggestions. Also, I love how small the teahouse is because it gives a more comfortable setting. The teahouse has multiple outlets with varying table sizes and two lounge couches. This is the perfect place to study and/or people watch because it’s pretty quiet.

The fresh fruit tea is the business fasho! I’ve been hitting this location up since the Riveroaks one is in renovations. This one definitely isn’t as big or busy with Coogs stationed throughout it studying for college. They deliver the same great teas and same friendly service with a smile though! I hate they close at 9pm on Fridays tho but got to respect it. They have a rewards program too! One more drink and my next one is free. Yeah buddy!

For over a year now I have been coming back to the Teahouse because they never fail to please. You can expect friendly service, always clean facility, and a massive selection of drinks, smoothies, and blends made quickly any way you desire.

This place is great for grabbing a cold drink on a hot day, a hot drink on a cold day, or just grabbing something non-alcoholic late night with friends. The place is always packed with students who are hanging out or studying, reading or playing board games, gathering for a casual meeting or just trying to get away from home. They have an impressive selection of drinks of all kinds, including various flavors, cream teas, coffee-based drinks, and smoothie-like concoctions. I normally stick with a green tea with tapioca, but every once in a while I vary and try something else. I almost always go back to my old standby because I can’t find anything else that’s as good. The only reason I can’t give this place five stars it that the drinks are a bit pricey for my taste. $ 4 – 5 tea and coffee prices are a bit ridiculous. It’s not bad enough to keep me from coming back at least monthly, but it’s high enough to keep me from coming by more often and from giving it that fifth star.

I came to know the awesomeness of Milk Tea just a few years ago in NorCal where they take their boba/bubble tea game seriously. This place offered genuine, simple flavors that should make it a staple for hardcore fanatics and the newly interested alike. What really earns the full 5 stars is the variety of flavors offered. They didn’t have a couple of the more obscure flavors I’ve enjoyed in the past, like roasted barley, but a great selection of warm, cold, and milk teas. A new plus: blended! I love the fact that I can get milk tea in smoothie consistency. Brilliant. I’ve heard you can mix flavors which only means I have about an infinite more visits ahead of me. As always, I appreciate the option for less sweet.

This location of Teahouse will probably be the only location I will ever go to. Their drinks are well made, it’s clean, and service is good compared to other Teahouse locations! The drinks are also not too sweet.

Did a quick stop for a late afternoon drink which quenched our thirst on a warm afternoon. They have another tea house not too far but if you’re in this area, this may be a more convenient location. The restaurant was clean and not quite as busy as the other one from my impression. The menu has a lot of variety of options to choose from so don’t be afraid to try new things! I ordered the rice green tea while my boyfriend had a coconut milk tea. Never had rice green tea but it was a fun drink. I thought both drinks were good actually. I ordered mini bobas and those were fun(plus soft) to chew on. So swing by when you have a chance!

I love the Teahouse — my favorites are the cream teas and cream blends, including the classic #1(black cream tea), mint cream tea, honeydew cream tea(this one is especially super sugary, just fyi), watermelon cream blend — all with tapioca, of course. The only reason I give this Teahouse location 4 instead of 5 stars is there is not much room or table space for working or meeting in large groups. All their tables are very small, about enough room 1 – 3 people to sit comfortably. If you are meeting up with someone to get work done, you wouldn’t have enough room for both of you to spread out your things. But other than that, this chain of Teahouse is my favorite!

Bubble tea will always treat you right. Unless it’s bad bubble tea. But Teahouse bubble tea is good bubble tea! I’ve always been wary to try the different Teahouse branches just because I’ve been loyal to the one in Chinatown for years, but this one is waaaaaaay closer to me and pretty much the same sans the multiple flat screens. Plus, your phone number links to all of the Teahouses, so you can earn rewards here, there, anywhere(that’s a Teahouse)! Some of the key differences to me are that this location tends to have less available drinks(there’s almost always 3 «out of stock» stickers on their menu), and they are MUCH less heavy-handed on the sugar. I asked for half sweet, and the boba itself was sweeter than my milk tea. While the Chinatown location was my first love, if I ever have a craving, I know where to go that’s convenient from home!

I went in there for the first time today and ordered the wrong drink! The cashier was so friendly and helpful even as I tried to hungover-edly describe to her the drink I wanted, she figured it out, and then she gave me the drink I wanted for free. I drank it in my car on my way home. All of it. Like I barely made it halfway home and it was gone. And I only live 10 minutes away. So main point: the cashier was really nice, and I just wanted everyone to know. Oh also, the drinks are good too.

Awright, I get that this is in a $$$ neighborhood and that people got rent to pay. So 10 – 4. It’s going to be more expensive. However, when each bubble tea or Vietnamese coffee costs $ 5, you’d expect for it to taste pretty good, but this isn’t as good as the one in Chinatown. Had a blended coffee and cream with bubbles, and it had a mealy consistency. Vietnamese coffee here was solid, but they don’t mess around with price. Coffee ice cream drank here was so-so compared to Chinatown, too. As with some things in life, standards seem to bend a little bit when it comes to convenience or if it’s been a while. This one is a so-so backup for when what you want is too far a drive for the effort.

I usually would come here after watching a matinée show in the Theater District. It’s really quiet and not crowded especially after a Saturday matinée; I can charge my phone without waiting for an outlet. A good place to sit and relax. Staff is friendly and courteous.

I had been craving tapioca bubble tea and I searched on Unilocal and discovered this gem near Memorial Park. This is definitely a treat since drinks range between $ 3.75-$ 4.75 + tax + toppings I can’t afford to drink it every week. However it’s a cozy area to go with a friend during a beautiful sunny day and there’s a long list f flavors and textures you can chose from. You can’t go wrong with this place. There are about four tables and two small personal couches so don’t expect to find a spot if you go during the weekend, but if not grab the drink to go and just walk around memorial park.

Great place to hang out on a beautiful day. The tea was good and they even have a bogo option for some of their tea. Subtracting one star for the lack of knowledge of the cashier. He couldn’t recommend anything nor did he know anything about the qualities of the tea.

Nice place to bring and work on your computer. Has power outlets, but wifi is 5 – 1 Mbps — maybe a wifi range extender would do best. Winter melon tea wasn’t on the menu, but they made it for order and it tasted fine. Has board games for anyone to who wants to sit and enjoy for a time.

I LOVE bubble tea — I’m more like addicted to it! And this place has some of the best flavors. They brew their own tea daily so you know it’s nice and fresh, plus they can modify the sweetness of it however you’d like. You can even choose from honey, regular sugar or Stevia. My favorite drink is strawberry black tea with no sugar(as it is already sweet) and ½ the strawberry syrup. So refreshing and delicious!

I’ve been to the Teahouse twice: tried some tea the first time and most recently a mango blended slush with mango gelatin. This is an Asian bubble tea spot with a whole bunch of choices. I’m not big on coffee so I always go with tea or a fruity drink. You can add all different types of gelatin to your drink which is a cool experience if you’ve never done it. Their mango blended slush was basically a smoothie which is a bit more icey than your typical smoothie. They also have free wifi if you want to study or hang out.

I have learned that all Tea Houses are not the same. This is definitely one of my favorites. If only they could figure out how to minimize the noise from those blenders, LOL ! Just kidding. It is definitely worth it for this creamy goodness bursting with flavor. Everything tastes so fresh and natural here.

I like the ambiance at the Teahouse. The facility is clean and modern. The music is set to an ideal volume, so you don’t have to yell while having a conversation. Their drink menu is broad with prices ranging from $ 3.75 to just under $ 5.00. Their tapioca was made to perfection! The Texture was just right. It was not over or under cooked. I had the Pina Colada, which was okay, sweeter than I expected(this may have been due to me asking for sweetener). My fiancé had the Matcha smoothies with Almond milk that came out perfect. The lady that had helped us was very nice and made drink suggestions. She recommended the Pistachio Macaroons and I loved it! Overall I was happy with this location and would come back. They get a five star for their tapioca, clean facilities, friendly staff, and decent prices.

I really like the Vietnamese coffee but I was not going to get another Teahouse coffee since the one on Westhiemer started using different ice causing there to be less coffee and more ice(look at my review there if you want to learn more), but I had a Groupon that was about to expire. I am glad I went to the place that recently opened(June last year). They serve the iced coffee like I am used to and the way it should be. I’ve been there twice and it hasn’t been packed yet, I don’t have to wait in a line like the other one. It’s super clean, the people that work behind the counter are nice, and my order comes out quickly. Can’t really ask for anything more. I hope they get another GroupOn for this place. It’s much smaller than the location on Westhiemer but I don’t go to stay and study. Just to get my coffee and go. I’d much rather go here than the other one now.
