Description

Specialties

The Tasting Room is a comfortable place to get serious about wine and offers a casual vibe where you can find hundreds of wines from around the world, gourmet foods prepared by an executive chef, live music, wines to-go, event spaces and the best patios in the city.

History

Established in 2003.

Established in 2003, The Tasting Room concept was created by owners Jerry and Laura Lasco, who loved going to wine bars in New York. They wanted to combine their passion for wine and appreciation for a variety of concepts they experienced into a wine bar that made drinking wine unpretentious and easily accessible to all guests. The Tasting Room’s first location in Houston’s Uptown Park neighborhood, began as a small 900 square foot restaurant and currently spans more than 9,000 square feet for guests to enjoy. Other locations including River Oaks, CITYCENTRE and Kingwood, all opened following the Uptown Park location in 2006, 2011 and 2012 respectively.
