Description

Specialties

The Railyard is a River Oaks Neighborhood Bar dedicated to bringing a comfortable, friendly feel to the Inner Loop and Galleria area residents. Our goal is to provide a clean, upscale environment you would want to show off to your friends, business partners, families, colleagues, or dates. We also have several HDTV’s and an 85 inch projector for all of the big sporting events making us not only a neighborhood bar but one with an emphasis on sports as well.

History

Established in 2010.

The Railyard opened in the Melcher Crossing Shopping Center at the corner of San Felipe and Briar Hollow Lane. Focusing on the historical significance of the area, the immediate access to a very popular Houston train line, and the 1950’s building in which the Railyard finds itself, the bar is really a unique mix of post-art deco, midwest Railroad charm and modern amenities. Just like the rail buildings around the tracks scattered across the urban centers of Chicago, Houston, and New York, you never know what you’ll see, here, or experience at the Railyard Houston.
