Been living here since October of 2015 and it’s been an amazing experience. The staff are the friendliest apartment stuff I’ve encountered in the last 5 years in Houston. Stephanie and John along with the property manager, Louise will go above and beyond to make sure I feel at home. All of my maintenance request were handled promptly. Attended 3 apartment parties since I’ve move in and met some amazing neighbors too. Highly recommended.

I lived there for a year terrible place to live. Parking is bad my car was damaged in parking garage to the tune of $ 1800 by a person living with a resident. Nothing was done because they have no cameras. They changed managers six times in one year. The halls are dirty and smell of trash. Tires where stolen off cars in the parking garage. Residents had their apartments broken in to because again no cameras. Tried to use pool and it was filled with small children who didn’t, t even live in the complex. My washer was broken for three months keep sending me emails saying it was repaired because they fired numerous maintenance men. If you want to be miserable you should move in they have lots of available apartments.

I currently live at the Grove. The first month that we moved in we constantly had electrical issues. The switches were wired poorly and we kept losing power. After a while they announced that they will be changing everyone’s inside wiring so I am guessing it was a major issue with other units as well. The package notification is rarely done. Out of every 10 packages we get we may get one notification. The packaging room is not well organized. We often have to go back down because they forgot to give us another package that was there all along, but missed because it was not in the right place. The coffee machine they rave about to prospect future residents during their tours is almost never properly stocked. It is always out of several drinks and it takes them a week to restock. The heated lap pool has not been heated for the past few months! Security guards used to be walking the property during the day as well as nights. Now we dont see them anymore during the day! The pool area is usually pitch dark. Even at 8 pm!(See pictures) What’s the point of having a nice pool area if you cannot sit outside by the pool at night. We have noticed a whole new team of employees and a new manager in the office. I think all these negative changes started with the new crew. All of the sudden they are cutting corners and yet we pay our rent in full. This is unacceptable and we will be leaving as soon as our lease it up! Dont waste your hard earned money. There are new developments in the area that are much classier and nicer than here.

Honestly I wrote the 5 star review of this place earlier because I thought they would be accommodating and to help them out because I felt sorry for them getting so many bad reviews. I was literally the only person to give 5 stars. I would never recommend living here. I rented at the grove for 2 years always paid my rent on time, there was a break into an apartment literally every week. We were so scared we had to get a securely system. We even heard gun shots right outside our window. My wife and I got divorced and had to leave our apartment, and they said the only way out was to pay what was remaining and the only way to get one spouse off the lease was to pay 1,500 $!!! This place is a scam, it is dangerous, and nothing ever works. Do not rent at this place. They are dishonest about the security situation and are only concerned with treating their tenants poorly.

Very nice apartments, not very nice location. I loved the exterior/interior of the apartment, but the walls are paper thin — our bedroom and my neighbors bedroom were connected and we could here all of their conversations and late night sex. We had the stand up shower feature and after a few months of use the water begin to leak out of the shower each time we showered — maintenance attempted to correct, more than once, but it was never permanently corrected. Also, the number of break ins are ridiculous; it was just under 10(that I knew of) before I moved out at the end of June — we only lived here for 1 year. Lastly, in my opinion the location is just not it! Other than those issues I wish I could pick up the apartment we stayed in and move it to the Galleria area and it would be PERFECT!

I like the 3 pools, but only 1 is heated. There have been a lot of break-ins. Security has been an after thought. No recycling. The parking is awkward. For a company that owns and manages buildings across America, the design of the property and the construction seem to fall short of what they call luxury. The business center is a nice feature. The gym as small as it is, is nice. The gardening and the pools are my favorite of this place. The lounge is great, but when you are watching a show, the thought of being able to turn down the music over the PA system has eluded them. The finishing in the units also seems to have missed the eye of detail of the project manager. The walls are paper thin. Exterior walls don’t have much insulation. I hear people talking outside. Unfortunately baby making is also audible. TMI. I do like that that they receive packages for delivery at the office. The Finger Companies could improve on the business processes for building and managing buildings.

I have lived here since July 2014 and had issue after issue. I am counting down the days until this lease is over. This morning I woke up at 7 am on Saturday to the sound of my neighbor snoring. I can hear my next door neighbor have sex and I can hear them when they are just talking since we share the same bedroom wall. Walls are paper thin! There have been so many safety concerns. I have lived in other apartments in Houston and never had this many concerns for the price. For the past week we have even had water outages. I saw the new«security guards» dancing and watching videos on their phone last Saturday night. Might be the reason they can’t deter crime. If peace and quiet and safety are important to you, find somewhere else to live!

I signed up for premium rent because the apartment unit was great, fully upgraded, and I thought, safe. However, there have been at least 6 beak ins, and just as many vehicles having all four tires stolen and left balancing precariously on bricks for days on end. The management team does nothing to secure the obvious safety hazard. After several incidents, they brought in a useless security company as several breakins occurred during their watch! Very suspicious. Now, I rarely see security and another two people woke to find their tires missing. Once again, the vehicle has sat there for days. I sent an email asking for what they intend to do to improve security, no response. I do not intend on renewing my lease if this continues!

I have lived here about 3 months. So far 10 different breaks-ins or theft. That’s why there is added security. Several of them even occurred while the added security guards were here which seems shady. The apartments are super nice. As much as you pay though I don’t think I should have to listen to my neighbors have sex every night. Apparently they didn’t insulate on the sides of the apartments only top and bottom insulation so you don’t hear the people above you. Very nice pool. The gym should have been a lot bigger due to the amount of people living here. I work out regularly and it’s often packed.

** The complex has added extra security, so you have to have an access card to get into the building, which is great in my opinion. The apartment seem more full in the parking garage, so more tenants moving in. :)
